At some point Sealdawn had realized it probably wasn't a coincidence that Sablestar had remembered her in her dream. That perhaps, just maybe, it wasn't her dream at all and it had been his that she'd been in. It was an awkward topic to potentially breach with the tom- something she wasn't sure how to approach. Maybe she was thinking into it too much. It had only been the leader so far after all.
If it was real, did proximity play a part in it? Was there some kind of requirement that needed to be met before she visited another's dream? There was no way to know for sure unless she tried to do so on purpose this time. And there was a perfect cat for her to test this theory of hers right in the medicine den.
Timberfrost refused to wake up. The spotted tabby hadn't been there when he first collapsed but she was certain Cicadabuzz and Magpiepaw had done all they could to try to wake him. And yet... "Timber..." She stood in front of him, voice low, noting every showing rib with each rise and fall of his chest. The only hint that the cat before her was still alive.
'But for how much longer..?' Surely there would come a point where his sleep would become...permanent if he didn't wake up soon? He still needed to eat. To drink. Asleep like this he could do neither. Hesitant paws clambered into the nest, curling up against the other.
'...Please be dreaming. Please let me reach you. We're all worried about you...'
Her surroundings were unfamiliar, almost calming- nothing like the darkness of Sablestar's dreams and briefly it brought a frown to Seal's face. Why were his dreams plagued so with such pain and misery? The thought was shaken away as soon as it had come. There would be time to wonder about that another time. For now she wanted- no, NEEDED- to see if this was real. If Timberfrost was here. If she could reach out to him, then, maybe...
"Timberfrost...? Are you here..? It's me, Seal."
