She'd waited near the apprentice den like she was supposed to, rounding up every other furball apprentice that'd finished up for the day. Once they were moving, the trek out to the basin wasn't long—but with a whole gaggle of paws in tow, it felt like a full-blown expedition. Fleapaw strutted ahead with her tail curled high, cutting through the mist-laced undergrowth.
Wolfpack gave her an inch of trust, and she wasn't about to string herself up with it. Still, what was the harm in having a little fun along the way?
Once they were close, she tossed a look over her shoulder, shooting those behind her a crooked smirk. "Last one there's a dead frog!" Without giving them a chance to catch up, she bolted ahead with a ripple of laughter, paws kicking up clumps of soft earth. "Hurry up losers!
The trail opened into a mossy clearing, and just ahead lay the basin—really more of a soggy dent stemming from the main pond, bloated from the storm runoff. Sunlight filtered weakly through the canopy, glinting off muddied water that sloshed between crooked roots and lush weeds. It was shallow, muddied, and writhing with life. Frogs croaked lazily in paradise, water bugs skated across the surface, and the sharp stink of peat and stagnant water clung to the air. Fleapaw bounded through the spongy ground before skidding to stop. She whirled around to see if she'd won.
You heard her, get in losers we're going fishing. Roll higher than Fleapaw to win the race if you want! @Stoatpaw @Hushpaw

Fleapaw values family the most with survival at a close second. In conversations, she is blunt, fun-loving, and clever. She is guided by her desires which often leads her astray. Despite her abrasive personality, she cares deeply for those she loves and will do anything to protect them. Due to her experiences, Fleapaw is corrupt and has minimalistic, if any, morals. She does not care for the warrior code and its restraints. Neither does she believe in StarClan. Growing up in a kitten mill, being separated from her mother, and ending up on the streets have deeply affected her view of the world.
Tellin' me I'll never be good enough
