It felt wrong to be heading out alone to meet up with the other medicine cats for the Half Moon meeting. He knew now how Meadowpaw must've been feeling during the meeting before last, and now felt guilty for having asked about it at the time especially with the hopefulness he had held then. Crossing the river stream his pelt still glimmered once on the other side as he shook starry droplets from his blue pelt, but his step was missing its usual sort of spring and his eyes no longer twinkled. The air continued to grow colder, its chilled bite becoming more fierce. Would it be wise for the medicine cats to continue these meetings during the colder moons he wondered?
There were too many things he wanted to ask this time to not go though- Flowercloud, SkyClan's deputy had mentioned about a medicine cat code that only Swallowbreeze could tell him about and he wanted to see if StarClan maybe knew where Rainpaw was... If she herself was not there than he truly did believe she was still out there somewhere but he needed at least that for an answer. Maybe one day they could help guide her paws home?
Jinglemoon trudged his way to Fourtrees with the scents of all the different clans after the last Gathering mingling in his nose until the cold breeze nipped the smell away, he'd fluff out his blue tabby fur as he settled down and waited for the arrival of the other medicine cats or at least for a couple of the others before making the rest of the trek there. He wouldn't be one to admit it out loud but he didn't really want to make the whole walk there alone especially now without an apprentice to journey there beside him... Plus the journey there might give enough time to ask about the code Flowercloud had mentioned, there wasn't as much chatter once they reached the Moonstone.
