The rain today had been relentless... It didn't seem able to decide quite exactly what it wanted to do either but one thing was consistent and constant. The annoying drizzle. Whenever the rain briefly stopped it was never long enough to not still be dripped on by the leaves above and just when you thought the drizzle would let up and the trees hadn't a drop more to spare? It'd start to rain again! Jinglemoon's blue pelt had felt like it was slicked down to his bones for the entire patrol, he looked like a wet bundle of blue coloured moss for StarClan's sake! And still they pushed on with the herb patrol. If any cat on this patrol caught a cold after having had their pelts soaked today he was going to chew out StarClan himself!
But really they did need the herbs and were still recouping their stocks. So long as no cat here got sick and if just a few of them found something perhaps he'd call in the patrol early so they could get out of the rain and back to camp with only mildly soaked herbs. His drenched tail that had been mostly dragging along behind him up until now would raise with new vigor when a familiar bright orange flower caught his eye. "Aha! Marigold!" He'd manage to rumble out a purr as he padded over and began to collect some-- It was admittedly a bit harder to do so though as he usually would place the herbs in his fur... Which was now soaked to the skin. This was going to be a long day.
