Too many sounds and scents and colors and touches and suddenly she's pulled away from the milk-scent of her siblings. It's too bright to see them, and she realizes for the first time now that being apart from them is something that can happen. Soft fur that smells like grass, like one of their family, like all of their family, wraps around her, tucking her close for safety. She nuzzles in, but this isn't family. They just smell like it.
