{$title} Jadethorn helps Wolfpack with his duties by organizing the patrols to the other clans!
There's only two types of people in the world
The ones that entertain, and the ones that observe
Soft pawsteps were made as the rosetted molly emerged from the nursery, tail swishing slowly to each side as Jadethorn made her way towards the center of camp. It almost felt strange, moving to stand where usually Wolfpack stood in front of the cedar of Sablestar's den. Almost. A part of her reveled in given the chance to control where her clanmates went. To have them follow her words like she was leader, herself. However, the opportunity was soured by the growing rumble of her stomach, and knowing that the fresh prey that she was teaching her children to eat was ever so slowly depleting with each colder day.
Carefully jumping onto one of the exposed roots of the white cedar, the night guard gave herself a much needed stretch before straightening and raising her crown to call out to the cats below her. "Shadowclan! It's time for patrols!" Jadethorn paused, watching for eyes and ears to turn their attention to her. She was sure she would get strange looks for taking over the deputy's job, which is why her next words hit the air as she settled her haunches onto the roots. "While Wolfpack ensures we all don't starve like we were back in the colony, he has asked me to put together groups to make sure our borders stay marked." A flick of her ear was given as her gaze scanned over her clanmates.
"Let's start with our closest neighbor." Toxic green landed on the stark white pelt of her leader's former apprentice. "Stoatstream, you will be leading the patrol to Windclan. Take Mothbite, and Snowdropheart with you. Careful crossing the thunderpath. We don't need another taken out by a monster..." Her tail lashed against the root she was settled on, glancing towards the nursery before her attention went back to the task at hand. The leader's former apprentice was sure to be a good choice, having met and interacted with Sablestar's family across the moors more than some others.
"Fleafire!" She looked towards her own former apprentice, the small stature surprisingly easy to find in the crowd after so many moons of it following behind her every step. "You will be leading the patrol to Skyclan's border. Take Belladonadance and..." A pause as she shifted to look for the recently ripped ear of the blue tabby. "Sealdawn. Make sure they know not to overstep their boundaries...and if they do..." Her eyes narrowed, the smallest of a smirk crawling onto her maw. "remind them of who was here first." Part of her hoped they would run into the cat who had injured the rosette. Then maybe they would get the chance to teach those 'code followers' a lesson in how the forest actually worked.
Next were the fish eaters, and she already had an idea for who to send there. "Mirepurr, you will be leading the patrol to Riverclan. There shouldn't be any issues there. They are a pile of shells, easily breakable. You can take Marbleshine and Snowbriar." A nod. She was sure Sablestar didn't want any extra trouble along the river, despite her thinking they were much to soft hearted to be a proper ally. At least they had seemed occupied with their inner workings. After all, one of their councils had taken their leader's life during the first gathering. They were not going to be any kind of threat to them for quite some time.
"Lastly... for Thunderclan." Jadethorn's lip rose, a growl growing in her throat as her tail lashed behind her and she stood back onto all four legs. "Bluegale will be leading us to our old friends across the thunderpath." The word was spat, venom dripping in sarcasm as she continued. "You and your sibling, Hollowmist, along with Viperhowl and Tickfrost, will be accompanying me and my kits. It's time they learn where the cat, who killed one of their fathers, hides." With those last words, the rosette molly took her leave from the cedar's roots. Pushing past the bodies of camp, the night guard made her way back to the nursery, where she could prepare her kits for the journey to the border. Maybe, if she was lucky, they would meet her dear snake across the tarmac and she could learn exactly who dared to take out the massive night guard...

BORDER PATROLS ARE HERE~
To Windclan -> @Stoatstream (Lead), @Mothbite, & @Snowdropheart -> It seems the rain and flooding from the moors has caused oilly water to runoff from the thunderpath! It clings to your fur and makes things extra slippery. Be careful not to lose your footing as you cross!
To Skyclan -> @FLEAFIRE (Lead), @Belladonnadance & @Sealdawn -> Free For All Prompt! You may choose to have something happen or nothing!
To Riverclan -> @MIREPURR (Lead), @Marbleshine, & @Snowbriar -> The fish are extra active today. Some of them are even jumping out of the water and onto the shore! Is it stealing if they end up on the side closer to Fourtrees? Also, be mindful to not get hit by one!
To Thunderclan -> @bluegale (Lead), @Hollowmist, @viperhowl, & @Tickfrost along with Jade and her kits! -> Jadethorn has brought her 10 week old kits to the border in order to instill loyalty in them early on, by showing them where their father's final moments were. Does your character agree with this decision, or are they upset at having to help watch the rowdy children?
