Dewshine and Copperstorm met back in the days of the colony. Then known as a kittypet by the name of Pandora, she had a chance encounter with Copper and gradually bonded with the tom, eventually choosing to follow him back to the forest. The introduction to the colony was tumultuous, with civil war breaking out and Copper's disapproving father attempting to use the chaos to murder her. The two have been essentially glued at the hip ever since.

They briefly talked about having kits, but Dewshine's fear of Coalstrike prevented anything further than just talk. Or so they both believed...

RULES & REQUIREMENTS Please verify names are not taken on the PREFIX CLAIM prior to committing to an app! You should reserve the name you pick just in case until kits are chosen! Activity requirements are just to remain on the census/your name claimed! If you must drop your kit we'd prefer they be written out in story rather than retconned. We would prefer the name be from either list, bonus points for ones that overlap lists! But as long as they fit the general 'vibe' we're open to unlisted options!   ... born in complete and utter innocence, little coal does not know the man she resembles. unfortunately, not long into her kithood... she does. coalstrike (lion willing) shows to her as a companion. regardless of if he's kind or cruel to her, the young molly quickly learns that she's the only one who can see him, and that unsettles her entirely. she often pleads with her father and mother that something bad must be happening, and though they care and want to help, there seems to be no way to.

  little coal opens her eyes. it's a slow, aching motion, one eye creaking open before the other. she anticipates for someone to be standing steps in front of her, simply waiting for her to wake up. this time, however, there are no paws fielding her gaze, yet the dread never leaves. she lifts her head, turning to look towards her dozing mother, then glancing out of the den towards where her father may be. it's... actually quiet, relatively so. the snows still falling, and there's no shadow to plague her sight.
  
  for a brief moment, she feels free again. little coal kneads her paws into the decaying remnants of the nest. morsels more of joy infest her, almost a cloistering amount, before that shadow casts over her again. it's as fleeting as she expects it to be, in truth, but no less terrifying. little coal stops her paws, darting her gaze down towards them and away from the phantom that's found her again. she doesn't squeak a hello to him, knowing that the whole nursery would hear her in full clarity, too. instead, she just obediently stops and waits for him to speak.

  Butterflykit

  
  

  APPEARANCE

  Butterflykit begins life as nothing more than a puffball. She, like all kittens, could be mistaken for a tuft of cotton more than she could an actual cat. The only considerable difference is that the tuft of cotton is not nearly as soft and sweet as Butterflykit's little mewls and purrs against her siblings.
  
  It will take several months for Butterflykit to lose the look of a fluffy little cloud made manifest, though her kit-like softness will stay well until her apprenticeship. Once her fuzz is replaced by smoother, flatter long fur, it will be more obvious that her pure white coat is dusted with blue speckling and the backs of her ears will develop into a dark blue not unlike her mother's coloration.
  
  Longhaired, taller than she is wide, Butterflykit will pose a striking figure at full maturity. Her tail is long and stands straight when she's most attentive, rather pathetically brushed in her youth, but a full feather-fan by the time she reaches full adulthood. She walks as if she is the most important cat in the room, and she holds her head high despite any emotions that roil underneath her plush exterior.

PLUMKIT

PLUM after the purple/indigo colored fruit that resembles his pelt. KIT denoting his rank as a kitten.

PERSONALITY

Upon growing enough to actively develop a personality, Plumkit becomes a bit of a trickster as a kitten - prone to pranks and laughing things off, deflecting his feelings and turning things around on others when pressed with questions; his silver tongue only grows more and more dangerous to both himself and others as he grows older but he never loses his roguish charm and quick wits. An inquisitive and chatty child, he does not shy away from asking questions others might feel too bold or forward and he is often in the way due to an eagerness to be involved with anything of interest.

APPEARANCE

Lilac tabby w/white & blue eyes.
Long-limbed with a tail perhaps even large than he is given its volume, Plum is a fluffy and sleek cat with a primarily lilac pelt with only a few distinct markings such as the pale heart shaped patch on his face like a mask and a similarly shaped one on his chest. The tips of his paws and underbelly are also white while along his spine he has inherited Dewshine's dark back stripe that coats him from ear tip to tail.

Very proud/peppy stance, tail usually always up and head held high but not out of ego or pride and out of joy instead! Will start off shorter in stature/size and grow more squirrely in shape with age.

Soft plush-like brown fur, very poofy tail and neck fur, a hair tuft that'll grow to become longer like their mother's and rounded cheeks like a chipmunk that'll become a little scruffier as they age.

Golden eyes that look just like their fathers, black nose and pink & black splotchy paw pads.

KIT - CHIPPER, PEPPY, CURIOUS

-> Shorter in stature, very rounded little cat!
-> Very chipper and peppy, they love their family!
-> Full of love and knows they're loved back, life is wonderful and they're full of curiosity for everything!
-> Loves collecting tree nuts and stowing them away in their nest​

APPRENTICE - SPRIGHTLY, UPBEAT, CONFIDENT

-> Legs will grow to be a little longer but overall will still keep their rounded plush look
-> Will want to make mamma and papa proud with their training!
-> Likely to try and make friends with other clan apprentices on border patrols and at Gatherings, allies are key and friends are great fun!
-> Loves having squirrel and chipmunk fur to line their nest with! Also their favourite prey​

WARRIOR - ROMANTIC, DREAMER, OPTIMIST

-> Will grow into a more 'squirrely' stature but will keep their poofy neck and tail fur
-> Their parents love for one another will inspire them a lot in wanting similar for themselves and their own mate in the future!
-> Believes in ThunderClan's kindness as being their best 'weapon' of all, will always be kind to kittypets given their mothers' background
-> Sometimes tucks nuts like acorns in their fur, usually smells quite nutty​

Fearless, proud, carries herself with pride and dignity. Is always an average sized cat, but remains a bit lanky, seems to almost be a mix of her parents in terms of appearance.

Spiky greyish-brown fur with flecks of dark brown and a large heart shaped lighter marking on her chest, seems to always have something (twigs, flowers, leaves) stuck in her fur from some kind of misadventure. Has some poor grooming habits and can look a little unkempt at times --- hece the spiky fur.

yellow/orange eyes, almost like that of a raging fire. Has a dark pink nose and pawpads. Teeth are sometimes visible without her mouth being open.

KIT - CURIOUS, SCHEMER, BOLD.

-> from opening her eyes, has a curious nature to her, seems overly adventurous and wants to leave the nursery as soon as possible.
-> tries to convince her parents (and Loonstar) to let her be an apprentice early to fuel her sense of adventure
-> has very few fears and brushes off the fears and concerns of others​

APPRENTICE - TROUBLEMAKER, FEARLESS, HASTY.

-> seems to be almost fearless, does not look before she leaps. A real hassle for her mentor.
-> respects her high positions, even if she doesn't always agree.
-> sneaks out on her own adventures often (including getting punished but not learning from it)
-> picks fights with other apprentices, especially those of other clans​

WARRIOR - RISK-TAKER, DRIVEN, PASSIONATE.

-> takes a lot of unneeded risks and throws herself into battles/danger without thinking
-> questions the council/leader/deputy often, argumentative when she feels they are wrong. Has the best interest of the clan in her head.

-> picks fights instead of using her words when faced with issues on borders​

• INSPRIATION // PROTECTING HER FAMILY - twofold with her fear, she wants to be strong and fearless to protect her parents and siblings from beasts like that.
• INSPRIATION // THUNDERCLAN - she wants to help her clan prosper in any way she can

NOTES, POTENTIAL PLOTS, ETC:

• THE GOOD DIE YOUNG // dies young (under 20 moons) protecting her clan in some way. Some sort of skirmish with Shadowclan would be awesome for this for added trauma :3.
• LIVE FOREVER // if we decide to go the route where she passes, she will linger in Starclan to continue being there for her siblings and parents <3
• SIGHTS SET // I could see Olive REALLY wanting to be a Storm Guard and trying her best to have Loonstar notice her in some way. If she does not make Storm Guard status, I could see her being a bit more argumentative towards the council/Loon/Owl
