Flowercloud felt little paws climb her back- and her dim gaze lightened a bit - but otherwise she remained as if she was blissfully unaware. She assigned patrols as paws dug into her shoulders, finding placement to climb her large frame and she did not flinch, did not stumble on her words. Instead she rose, saying farewell to those that were going on patrol. Her body swayed as she walked, dramatically.

She swore she heard giggling- but the large deputy kept quiet, watching the other kittens playing, examining as she furrowed her brows and tilted her head. She wasn't sure which kitten was on her back, but suddenly a gasp escaped her. "One, two-" she begun counting the heads. "Oh no!" Her voice raised high in pitch, really selling the dramatic flair. "Guys! I don't see Yolkkit!" She exclaimed, large head throwing itself side to side before dipping to shove her head into the nursery then pull it out, a bit of debris clinging to her head.

Now this is, perhaps, one of Yolkkit's best ideas yet!

In all honesty, he'd just been bored with the game of mossball he and the rest of the kits had been playing. He'd strayed off to find something better to do, and, really, an intrusive thought finds him here, climbing up the deputy's form as if she were just a rock. Maybe she is, with how still she sits as she calls for the warriors to gather!

Flowercloud is much taller than him, he realizes as he not-so-carefully climbs along her back. He can see everything from up here! Why hadn't he done this sooner? He tries his best to be quiet as she doles out patrols to the rest of the clan, though he can't help the giggles that slip out at the warriors that do notice an extra set of eyes between the deputy's ears!

But soon, soon she is moving, and Yolkkit's paws begin to slip at the sudden momentum. He scrambles upward, holding on tight with an extra jab or two at the molly's back. How she hasn't noticed yet, Yolkkit isn't sure — maybe he's being more stealthy than he thinks he is, a good skill to have to be the best warrior ever! Suddenly, Flowercloud gasps, and another giggle spills from Yolkkit's maw as she counts the kits before them. And oh! She's realized he's gone, that he's missing! From between her ears, he peers down at his nursery mates, a plea not to tell her where he is. " Shh... " He wants to see how far this goes!

He ducks downward as she peers in the nursery, a movement almost made too late. Debris clings to his fur, shrouds cream fur in greenery. Couldn't she have checked behind the nursery first, where Songkit had only just found himself the other day?
