A Baker's Dozen; Gingerbread family adopts

Seen about the neighbourhood of the twoleg place, Gingerbread is a rather suave and jovial face. While he was initially sharp towards Skyclan cats, after a short courtship with a Skyclan warrior and learning from Fizzystar about the newfound alliance between Skyclan and Warriorclan, he found himself willing to open up more to the idea of these clan cats.

In the meantime, unbeknownst to any other cats, the tom had a brief fling in the past with a pretty molly down the lane, Cherry. Only for him to learn recently she had a litter of kittens and now had been demanded to take responsibility for them too. This isn't the first time it happened. About 14 moons ago, the exact thing happened, and his older children are adults all their own.

Now a father all over again, Gingerbread is trying to show the budding young cats how to grapple with life as an outdoor cat and, after a run-in with some patrolling Skyclan cats, tentatively give them the option to train as Daylight apprentices under the guidance of Hawkstar's warriors.

As Gingerbread watches his children thrive, either in the cushy lives of kittypets or the rough and tumble of daylighters, he wonders how his kin are. His own parents are long gone, but his lone sibling across the gorge in Windclan is still kicking. For a tom with such a reputation, he longs for a quiet life with family, but everything seems to upend his plans one way or another.

RULES & REQUIREMENTS

Please verify names are not taken on the PREFIX CLAIM prior to committing to an app! You should reserve the name you pick just in case until kits are chosen!
  • This litter is not first come first serve! I haven't decided on a date of selection but I will comment as much when there is! I don't expect extensive activity with these guys but also give me a heads up if you intend to drop them, so we can figure that out.
  • The older litter is ~20 moons. The younger litter will be 5 moons to facilitate any desired plots.
  • These cats do not need to remain kittypets! It is up to you if they take up Warriorclan life, decide to join Skyclan as a Daylight apprentice or just enjoy the cushy kittypet life.
  • As long as you have the name, appearance, personality and note of which litter/slot, they will be considered!
  • You can use your own designs or hypokit designs, it is preferred if they generally fit the sweet treat (confectionery/ fruits) theming :3

RELATIONS

Kits are Generation 1.
Each respective kitten litter have a mother who is present in their lives, but are both NPCs unless there is interest to play them!
They also have a pibling in the Barn yard/ Windclan, who is an adoptable character.

PERSONALITY: Cocoa is very quiet, often appearing gruff or intimidating, but he's actually a big softie - something that is very evident once you speak to him. He enjoys kittypet life and living amongst his kin in the twolegplace, but the idea of joining a Clan excites him… being out in the open air of the forest, his instincts guiding him to hunt and fight rather than everything being handed to him, it feels honorable and would help him learn to protect his loved ones too. When he learns of SkyClan's daylight warrior position, he is eager to seek them out to begin learning their way of life. But as he slowly learns and grows, he finds himself a bit torn between the safety and warmth of his twoleg home and his desire to live amongst his friends within SkyClan, and by the time he is ready to be a warrior, he may well have to choose to leave one or the other behind…

  • TEDDYTEAR // Was the original planned name! Keeps some aspect of their kittypet origins with "teddy" they're also big like a bear! Beartear could also be an option if teddy doesn't work though it rhymes,, bit sillay (Tear as in to tear something apart rather than a tear drop)
  • TINYTEAR // Similar to the above but more warrior/legal prefix if the leader wouldn't want to keep the teddy part of the name!
  • PECANBEAR // I just think it sounds kinda cute heehee :3 (+ Has pecan which is a legal prefix while also being on your list of potential names!)

Fur feels like that of a teddy bear, with soft, hot cocoa colours to their pelt, cute pink button nose

Light button blue eyes, same cute pink as their nose for in-ear and paw pads!

Will gain the shown scars later, two big red ribbons, one around the short tail and one around the neck

PERSONALITY - JOLLY, MERRY, IF SANTA WERE A CAT.
-> A pacifist at heart, this guy would make a great mediator (If the role becomes real!) or excellent caregiver!
-> While they are a pacifist they also understand the importance of safety, and won't hesitate to fight off those who threaten his family and (future?) clan, will have an easier time fighting off animals other than cats though.
-> Favourite time of year is actually leaf-bare, LOVES snow and ice (though understands the danger presented by the second)​

OOH, I've been wanting a WC cat, this is perfect... Will throw in an app for a younger slot here tomorrow...eyeballing Jam/Jammy perhaps
