Hello and welcome to Purrgatory! We are an 18+ Warrior Cat Roleplay set in an AU where the clans were unable to leave the forest territories and perished!
It has been 100 or more years since then, the clans of the forest are but distant memories to any cats still alive, stories passed down to kits of strangely named wild warriors and leaders with nine lives but the time of the clans is upon us once more and the stars shine yet again.
Soft reddish paws stretch against a pile of hay that cushions his body. Claws pricking at the thin grasses as his jaws part open on a long yawn. Napping all day can not be healthy for him but there is not much else for him to do. The mice do well to fill his belly and his emerald orbs open to peer at the open double doors. With a soft huff he hauls his body up, easily slipping down from the hey pile and stepping onto the cold ground. With purposeful steps and a graceful sway he leaves the abode to finally greet the day. Or rather. "Oh the sun is setting. Looks like I overslept." Well, he didn't mean to over do it in that regard but alas here he is. With a dramatic sigh he gazes around only to continue on. This moment he can use to stretch his paws. His back arches as another stretch passes over him before he steps around one of the large grain holding things. His eyes wander and he wonders just who he might meet at this moment.
The stars are starting to slowly dot the skies as the sun fades closer to the horizon. Personally he isn't the nocturnal kind himself but he can try to stay awake if he can get up to shenanigans.
If there was one sight that got the young calico on her toes, it was the glory of the setting sun. Flicker was no stranger to sleeping in, her evening escapades surveying the stars leaving her happy to partake in naps at all hours of the day. But she always woke at the very least before evening, especially during the dreariness of winter. Color was a rarity at this time. She didn't want to waste a single opportunity to behold beauty. Tonight she padded around the base of a twoleg storage thing- Goldy had called it a silo, if she remembered right. Tall and faded, Flicker didn't think it was much to look at. But its potential to be a unique vantage point had drawn her attention. Unfortunately, as she circled the wide base, she wasn't seeing any viable footholds. What's the point of something so huge if you can't even enjoy the view from the top? she wondered, snorting to herself. Gentle pawsteps sounded behind her, and the calico turned to see Cherri.
"Well, look who it is. And here I'd thought you were giving up today," she laughed, a purr rumbling in her throat. She'd passed Cherrie's sleeping form on her way out of the barn.
Flicker returned her attention to the silo, and to the stars blinking to wakefulness above. "Have you ever been on top of one of these before?" she asked, squinting as though a solution would leap out at any moment. It wasn't often she ran into many others after nightfall, the warmth of the barn far too inviting to resist. If he's wandering around at this time, maybe he's wandered this way often. "I can't imagine how amazing the moor would look from up there."
