{$title} Using Starclan Visit Shop Item -- mentions of death, and other sensitive topics.
Rosebellys death haunted her. It stained her, and even still, she never could feel like she could get his blood off her fur. She never could feel like she had stopped pressing her nose against his pelt, and what was worse was the memories. The playfulness in his gentle eyes, the laughing .. it was replaced with anger, with rage- teeth bared at her as the truth was released.
But, he failed to realized each of your strengths. He stated I was bringing you to your... Deaths. That being here, in Skyclan, would kill you guys. But I won't let that happen.
What she promised to her children fell before her very eyes. Her son, her own son fell before her, dying gasps begging to go home. She still didn't know- was home back in skyclan camp? Or was home.... Back a two moons journey? Long gone...
But never forgotten. Just like the memory of Rosebelly, she much preferred now a days to remember the good things- the way he stood when he became a warrior, the way he held himself, the way he trained and practiced and was everything he could've ever been. A small sigh left her as she finally let herself sleep... As her maw pulled into a gentle smile, and her breaths steadied....
---
Green eyes fluttered open. She hated the nights when she woke up and it was already morning. The amber molly wasn't used to how bright it was though, nor used to sleeping in. Maybe that's just how tired she was... She supposed that made sense as she rubbed at her eyes gently with her ankle of her paw, before licking it and pulling over her head. With the sleep from her eyes, and a few more blinks, she realized- this was not home.
"....Rosebelly?"
Her breath caught in her throat, her heart thudded at his form before her. Starlit, and unscarred. She rubbed her eyes again, shaking her head as her floof puffed out with it, pulling herself forward in a sudden movement as she tried to wake herself up. It didn't work, opening her eyes again to see her son before her.
"Oh! Rosebelly," she murmured, her voice slightly stumbling, her strides taking her closer yet before hesitating before his form. Green gaze was confused, gentle, soft- yet the wobbled, her ears flattening against her skull as she hesitated. Her eyes burned, before she moved forward, wrapping a paw over his shoulders and pulling the chocolate tom close to her chest, the large molly embracing her son once more. "I'd never had a dream so... Real like this. Not of being able to hold you... Oh ... Oh I missed you so much." She says, her voice honey sweet, cracking as if she might cry. "I'm so so sorry, I'm so sorry," she murmurs, wrapping around tighter before pulling away, green eyes looking her son up and down. "And I'm so... So proud of you."
Even if it was a dream- would Rosebelly hear her?
