{$title} Lavenderpaw went missing a while ago, and RPer finally wrote it in story
"Lavenderpaw!" The screech that escaped her was unlike her as she fell to the ground, teeth clenched tightly as the sobs that threatened to escape the entire day she searched, as soon as dawn emerged and her child could not be found. An unholy scream, of a shattering heart of a mother, as moonlight shined down a full moon. Something that could've been so beautiful- becoming nothing but a frail excuse of lost hope as green eyes searched, looking for a sign- anything.
Lavenderpaw was gone. Days passed by, the search never ended, and she found herself working tirelessly, for any sign, but none to come. The days drawled, silent, finding harder to wake up to know- she had failed. She only had herself to blame. 'dont put it on yourself, it's not your fault- they'll return, they'll come back' day by day, she tried. She tried to think positively.
And maybe, when Hawkstar was mad at Fitzgerald, she hoped he would bring news of the whereabouts of her child- but none came. A vast emptiness, dragging her paws forward each day as she worked through her children hating her. She couldn't blame them. She bore gifts, but didn't push them.
And when others leaned on her- she would act normal, a guise through the pain. Her walks were calming, but searchful, hoping for a sign- or for her child to come back.
She wouldn't find anything. No one could.
And could she blame her children for blaming her? She couldn't. She never had a family to try to keep together, and now that she had one, the days passed by where Rosepaw and Cygnetpaw wouldn't, possibly even couldn't, even glance her direction.
And despite this, she moved forward, her head held high, while inside she broke. Torn apart, trying to fill the void.
She was glad to get the break, perhaps it was time to look further. And she would. When the dog chased her far, she couldn't help but on the way back look for any signs that were possibly too far gone. She couldn't lose hope. She wouldn't.
If she could tear apart the world for her children, she would. But now, here, stuck in the medicine den? She could only hope she would receive any news- even if that she was alive- even if she had turned her paws and strayed to kittypet life. She should've tried harder- Rosepaws words still stung over their father. He probably even thought that now.
She wouldn't blame them. But...
She just wanted to know something, anything.
