It was fine that Juniperstar once again did not pass him the right of being a mentor. Thunderflash's paws were itching to do more, and yet, he was restricted to these borders. The runs in the morning with Ghoststrike- those eyes are stuck in his head- the endless patrols and hunting for a machine of a Clan. At least it was nearly Greenleaf. The prey was running good but he was all kinds of warm. A breath leaves him as he finishes with the meal he had picked out from the kills he had brought back, picking up one or two feathers that he had pulled from the bird. Bright orange but very short from the breast of the oriole, it stood out against his maw.

Thunderflash rose, padding to where the kits were playing at the mouth of the nursery. The little guy that had put the idea of him and Ghoststrike into their heads himself was who Thunderflash wanted to see today, quietly curious that what training he had attempted to give the kit a moon or so back through the mossball play had still sat with him. "Hey, Hopekit." He called, settling the feathers down between them. "Y' want to play a game?" He called, settling an easy grin on his muzzle.

Hopekit is trying to make his mom's nest more comfortable with some moss one of the apprentices had given to him, deep in thought, when Thunderflash shows up. He startles slightly as a result, turning around to look at the older tom with wide eyes. A game…? Well… the other game they'd played had been pretty fun. And also… he did like Thunderflash. He was brave and strong, and he was a storm guard, and everyone in the clan seemed to like him and trust him. He's not scared to speak up. Hopekit wants to be like that too, someday, but he's not sure how. But maybe playing games with Thunderflash could be a start…?

"Hi Thunderflash," he says, quickly stuffing the last moss into the nest before padding over to him, looking at the feathers on the ground. "Uhm, yeah! A game would be… fun… what's this one good for learning?" He asks.
