Lavenderpaw doesn't know how she let time get away from her. She spent the night - moon, stars, and all - just talking to that ThunderClan-ShadowClan boy. About anything, too - they meandered about the shapes in the skies, the rolling clouds, the difference in prey, trees, grass... She got him to step into the shallows for a few moments, too. It seemed as if they were doing anything to continue spending time together, yet before they knew it, the sky began to lighten. Lavenderpaw recalled with a ruffled pelt that Frostmoth intended for them to take dawn patrol. And yet, here she was as dawn approaches. She doesn't quite recall the goodbye she gave Asterpaw - only that she raced back atop the dry stepping stones and rushed home once again.
Her paws skip across the smaller stream that designates the start of their camp, butterfly wings daintily clamped between her teeth. The dens have begun to stir, some warriors already having departed from their nests. She cringes as she skirts around them, desperately trying to sneak and avoid suspicion...
