Shark had seen other cats eating these weird things before, but this was the first time he'd come across the strange shells himself. Clams, he was pretty sure they were called. He'd just spent the last ten minutes digging through the sand and wrestling this one out, but now the young tomkit found himself with a completely new issue.

Getting it open.

"Come on you stupid thing, open up!" he growled as he clawed and gnawed at the shell, trying to find the trick in opening it.
