Hello lovelies! This is where you'll find all the Duskpool-related connections ^^ Either through older litter adopts, past connections, or someone to consider if wanting to be part of a pre-existing family for your character of any age (which will not be added as a tab, but feel free to pop into my discord channel, blues-brewcraft to plot sillies). Most of these adopts will be first comes, first serve unless stated otherwise, but please wait until I've favored your post before running full steam ahead.

All that I ask is to include the basics! And if you go above and beyond I am gripping you affectionately!! The only actual requirement I have is 2-3 posts per month, if possible! I know some clans are more active than others, so that may not always be possible ^^ But I will specify with each adopt about activity requirement.

  • almondpaw is... small, to put it lightly. when fully grown, she will hardly reach average sized skyclanners necks, more fluff than anything... and boy, is she fluffy! though her fur is almost always wind-blown, found with various forest litter (leaves and sticks) stuck within, it's soft and velveteen to the touch. she somewhat has a mane that puffs up around her neck, but its hardly even noticeable with how wild her fur is.

    her base coat is a mess of chocolate blends and light cream, kind of like a latte macchiato. her most notable spots of chocolate are the freckles going up her nose and the few freckles that dot the rest of her body. white shades take over her chest fur and her stomach.

    pearl is exactly the epitome of sunshine, all smiles, all kindness, even when the situation doesn't call for it. she has an accidental knack to potentially piss others off with her endless optimism, and quite frankly likes getting up to kitten-like mischief, not really ready to grow out of the kitten stage just yet. however, despite everything, almond is a hardworker and more often than not does things shes told without (much) complaint; she has wishy-washy tendencies, often committing to one thing before abandoning it entirely and moving on to the next. seems like her poor mentor will have a run for their money...

    it is just as easy to earn her ire as it is her kindness; almond takes certain things as personal slights against herself... however, she is a ride or die for her friends, extremely loyal to them to the point of sticking up for them when she knows they're wrong... shes almost attached to her friends in an almost unhealthy manner.

  • β˜… traits β†’ He is typically a very quiet who prefers it to keep to himself. It's difficult for him to connect emotionally with others and he has trouble showing his feelings. Mainly because he is afraid to lose someone he cares deeply about again. If someone is importing to him, he will be very protective of them and will want to shield them from anything bad. He tends to be cold and push others away, though he is actually quite loyal. He just doesn't want to let others too close in case he loses them. What others often perceive as ruthlessness is actually the acceptance that the world usually isn't a nice place and that there are certain things that need to be done. If he doesn't do them, who else will? It doesn't mean that he enjoys fighting or killing. In fact he hates it and has grown quite tired of it. He much prefers peace, quiet and order. But sometimes these are necessary and he knows that. He tends to have a very cynical view of the world and a pessimistic outlook. Despite this he is actually quite thoughtful. He is very honest and tends to be direct. He also is intelligent and tactical.

    HISTORY Batgloom was born as a kittypet, though he doesn't have much memories of his first home, his parents or his littermates. He had been dumped near the dogfighting circuit when he was barely weaned. One of the twolegs working there found him and decided he might make good bait one day. The first cat he bonded with at the dogfighting circuit was a tom around his age named Smokey. They quickly became best friends and considered each other as brothers. They both were together in the ring for their first fight. Smokey didn't survive the fight and Batgloom still feels guilty about not saving his brother. There were a few cats he considered his friends after him, but no one was as close as Smokey. He grew to respect and admire Duskpool. The older Tom was doing things he considered as necessary that no one else seemed to want to do. After Duskpool escaped, he had done some mercy killings as well, some he even considered as friends. He may feel bad about it, but ultimately he believes he has done the right thing. A quick, painless death is better than a long, painful suffering. Duskpool is the one who inspired him to want to escape too. He managed it a few moons after Duskpool did with a medium sized group of cats. He decided to rename himself into Bat after he escaped. Amongst them was Shiveringsong, a tom he had been crushing on for a while now. The group dwindled in numbers until only Shiversong and him were left. Some succumbed to illness or injuries and some left. Eventually he and Shiversong stumbled upon the shipyard cats. They decided to join them and followed them when they went to form Riverclan. It took both toms a while to admit their feelings for each other as both were afraid to loose the other. After they did, they quickly became mates.

  • Quiet, restricted, and guarded --- it takes a long time to get to know Belladonnadance. Even when you feel like you've gotten to know her, there is still a wall there, is it fear, malice, or something else entirely? Regardless, she is a driven molly, putting her clan first and trying to absorb herself in her own duties. She's no stranger to getting her paws dirty, and even if the memories of her past haunt her, she does what she needs to do to survive. She's a bit on the blunt and snappy side in conversation, she reveals little about herself and avoids probing questions of her past or personal life. She has an incredible amount of restraint and discipline, for better or for worse and can almost come off as a trained soldier rather than a feline at times.

    She is blunt in regards to her feelings, and she'll make it quite clear if she enjoys spending time with you or if she would prefer to avoid you entirely. She has EXTREME trauma around toms and dogs due to her upbringing and would much rather find a kind and patient molly to spend her days with. She is incredibly vindictive and petty if she feels you've wronged her, and tends to hold grudges for much longer than she should.

    Cruel as God may be, Elohim has been reborn after being tossed around by the dogs. It managed to live, to rebuild himself, to flee. They has built a new life for himself, somewhere to be, somewhere to flourish --- to spark his ideas to life. It has no close relationships, but hey, that tends to happen when everyone you ever knew was torn apart by dogs... but they does remember one: Duskpool. That coward that was once their leader, the one who mercy killed so many that still had life to them, that still had more flesh and bone for the dogs to tear at. It was cruel to the dogs, playing god like that... shame should pierce Duskpool.

    Elohim embraces the idea of his past, knowing that a divine smiled upon him that day, sparing him. The dogs even seemed to hesitate going after him, perhaps it could be their god one day. It stays by the dog-fighting run, enamoured by it, drawn to it like a moth to a flame. Those who live, well, maybe his flock will have a place for them...

When asked to describe Canyon, quiet is the first word most think of. Observant, some may add. Those that know them well, of which where are few, would say haunted. They are a kind and gentle sort, sooner to flee than fight if able, but that's not to say they're incapable. A lifetime of horrors lends one appreciation for peace, and the willingness to do what it takes to preserve it. Stories come forth from them if given enough comfort and time, fantastical and absurd tales of wonder, saviours, magic, and family. They speak not of their past, preferring to keep it tucked away and shadowed by stories of what could have been.

Canyon is an orphan (npcxnpc) with vague memories of their maternal parent. They were the only kit of their litter to make it to awareness, the only member of their family to last past their fifth week. They do not know of any siblings or relatives but likely have some wandering about. Their history, how they got out of the ring, what happened within it, is shrouded in secrecy.
