It has been 100 or more years since then, the clans of the forest are but distant memories to any cats still alive, stories passed down to kits of strangely named wild warriors and leaders with nine lives but the time of the clans is upon us once more and the stars shine yet again.

a quiet apprentice who seems to always have a resting bitch face; unapproachable if you look at the surface, and maybe a little bit prickly and too much of a buzzkill in their personality, but truly, they mean well and would gladly do anything for their clan.

mistpaw, to put it quite plainly, is shorter than most of their peers... however, tall, tufted ears make them appear a little bit taller than they actually are! they carry themselves with elegance and grace, their head is normally dipped lower to the ground which makes them look more like a hunting dog than a cat; their pawsteps are hardly audible at all, something they picked up in the shipyard. aside from the twisted judging of their resting face, they don't normally speak with or even show much emotion; if you would like to know how they're feeling, you would have to be versed with their micromovements of their body.
their fur, despite being wispy, is always well-groomed and taken care of. various flowers dot their coat, which is a gradient of various blues and creams. the tip of their tail, and the tips of their ear, have been dipped in white, the only spots on their body with it. rain-blue eyes sit on their face, a little bit dull, but there nonetheless. their whiskers are long & often catch water droplets in them as they move through the territory & various water bodies.

at first meet, first glance, mistpaws personality doesnt exactly come off... the sweetest. they have a major case of a resting bitch face & their standoffish vibes don't exactly help it, especially so the fact that they're shy so they hide behind a mask of indifference to guard their heart. making friends does not come easy to mist and they're hesitant to even call others friends, too afraid of stepping over that social boundary. it helps to have none at all than to embarrass themself and seem a fool. they don't talk very much, preferring offhanded comments than a full blown conversation, and others are also quick to get on their nerves as well, adding on another layer to an already prickly cat.
however, despite the shyness in social situations, mistpaw is loyal to their clan to a fault. they're loyal to their one sibling, rookpaw, as well... and as their moral code develops, they actively place rookpaw first, and their clan second. they will happily hunt & provide for the clan with zero complaints, often to the point of overworking themselves in to hurt or overexertion. they have to be good at what they do, and they pride themselves over the fact that they're both a natural swimmer & fisher. maybe theres a little ego in them after all...?
