last night's celebration still rang in her ears, and swallowbreeze from last night knew she'd wake up to regret spending so much time engaging in festivities. their monthly celebrations were noticeably missed by the older generation, and the molly was grateful to finally be old enough to participate in them. still, she didn't expect to be so tired the morning after. the leaf-fall chill is a welcoming presence on her still–groggy face, her limbs slowly catching up into a more respectable trot through the territory.
she notices the familiar clearing, and shoulders past some dry foliage into her most popular herb spot. many plants sprout from the ground, swaying gently in the leaf-fall chill, some tempting to wilt before the first frost hits. swallowbreeze didn't touch this spot for awhile to allow plants enough time to grow, and there is enough to gather.
"we need to gather as much as we can... a lot of my plants will wither when leafbare hits. anything for illness will be the most useful." swallowbreeze shook her fur out and glanced at the ground. leaf litter decorated the clearing, and when she peered closer, noticed the familiar points of oak leaves. there's a lot, but only a few of these will be useful, she thinks as she sweeps her tail through the gathered bundle.
