tw for Vague mentions of dog attack/a wound
You've really done it now, Levi thinks to himself as he hurdles across the fence, dog still hot on his heels. He had made an in hindsight highly questionable decision to forgo having to hunt in favor of… borrowing some food from a dog. Although to be fair, the dog was usually leashed to a post or inside, and the fact that it was just running around like a wild animal was a completely unforeseen complication. By the time Levi had hopped down from the fence, the dog was already on him, and though as far as dogs go it was pretty small, so was Levi. The wound it left however… painful. Very painful. Especially when you're also running for your life, as the dog had followed you out of its garden where it's usually tethered by a chain!
Finally, after what feels like hours of running, he spots a road in the distance. Not that he intends on killing the thing, but… if it just so happens to get flattened, well, all the better. Levi makes a sharp right, bee lining for the road. He only lets himself linger for a second before he crosses, just to be sure he doesn't get flattened. He chances a look over his shoulder on the other side and sees the dog barking and pacing angrily on the other side of the road, too afraid to cross. Hah!
He takes a moment to orient himself– where the hell was he? He'd crossed the road before, but never this far from the two leg place he usually haunted. It was… dim, to say the least. And his shoulder continued to ache. He'd need somewhere to rest, to clean the wound… but… ah, to just lay down right here. But no, that dog might change its mind, cross the road, try to find him. The things had the damnedest sense of smell. So he hobbles on, eyes searching for a particularly comfortable looking bush or abandoned hole to crawl into, when suddenly he catches a whiff of the scent markings of cats. Unfamiliar cats. Huh…
Then, suddenly, a rustle in the bushes, a flash of fur. Yep, he thinks again– you've really done it now.
"Listen sweetheart, if you're gonna kill me, could you make it fast? Don't fancy I'll be sticking around for too long with this wound anyway."
