------ A long walk in the afternoon is, as far as Gravel is concerned, one of life's greatest little pleasures. Being able to survey one's territory is wonderful, of course. It's a well needed reminder of how far Gravel has come, to achieve the life they have today. Aside from the ego boost, the cool air and the movement made it easier to think.
------ This evening, though, is far more cool than Gravel prefers. Snow fell gently from the sky, sticking to their pristine coat and making their paws cold and wet. In Gravel's defense, it wasn't snowing when they first left. They would prefer to stay inside of a den on a miserable night like this...
------The only saving grace of this walk was the company.
------ "Honestly, how has he not learned to hunt yet? He should be old enough to catch a bird without waking up the whole forest..." Gravel sighs, overdramatic. They were happy Gentle was here with them. Camp had become too tense of a place for sharing gossip, so they hadn't had much time to talk.
------ "Some cats just don't take the time to bring up their kits properly. Really, this colony is lucky they have me."
Catching upwith an old friend is alsoone of the world's little pleasures, it seems.
