Talon recognized her. He guess he had a thing with faces, but it was hard to ignore hers. She stuck out of windclan like a sore thumb. She was a bit different, then though. Her belly had been swollen, and now seeing her as he sat in front of the medicine den as he usually did, he noted the fact three kits played nearby her.
They gave her ten seconds.
Her white paws was stained with red. Her eyes empty- but something told him they were just broken. He tried not to focus on politics, but this was when he fled from watching them too. They chased her like rabid animals- and he couldn't risk that. He had grown smarter, and he knew at this point, he was no longer safe. The fact he even managed to survive that long watching from the distance was pure luck and caution.
He never approached an adult, but something told him to. Some itching feeling that gnawed at the brown furred child. Some urge that needed to be poked and prodded at. And besides, he didn't like being stared at. He was sure she wouldn't like it either. The kits had wandered a bit away, and it was safe to say that he could speak to her in private. White spotted paws led him over, the prickling feeling coming back and beginning to tear into his stomach. But he remained stoic, unnerved. "I recognize you." It was clear as day, despite his usual laze of words that rolled off his tongue. His blue eye watched her carefully, his torn ears burned. A beat. Two. "Yer Ivory. Y' was part of th' group that tore m' ears, stole m' mouse, an' left me in a ditch." His voice was blunt, cold, and his expression was unwavered. She didn't do anything. She probably didn't even know of his existence.
If she could read him, perhaps shed read flashing across his gaze a bit of confidence- an expression of 'but I survived.' "I ran too, when they chased y'." He admitted, hesitantly. His head turned, now. Blue gaze drifting to the children, tumbling over each other, then back to Ivory. " 'm Talon."
