His chin lifts, and when he speaks, he's more reserved then normal. "Windclan, listen up." He announces. "It's patrol time. I'm not gonna fluff it up, just handing out your directions." The deputy isn't sure why he feels the need to explain himself. He shakes it off, moves forward with the groups in mind. "Merrystalk. Lead a patrol to Skyclan, make sure the bridge is well marked. The gorge should be calming down by this point. Take... Ripplemist and Sunnyspring with you." He glances towards both siblings, then moves towards the next group. That patrol should go well, he thinks.
"Dustystar, take Roostertuft n' Silentstep to the Shadowclan border." Strategically, this was probably the wisest, given Talonpaw's messy return from that border. She'd be able to smooth things over, right? Roostertuft wouldn't start any fights, and he thinks Silentstep's friendliness would round them off well enough. "I'm heading a patrol to Highstones to hunt. Hollowmumble, Solacewhisper, come with me." He instructs, nodding his head to those two, before sweeping on to the next set of patrols. One regular enough, and one... a little out of the ordinary. Well, maybe not really.
"Dimmingsun, if you find yourself in need of paws for a herb patrol, take Cloverboom and Fogstare- or any others that you find necessary." They're low on herbs. The rains all but washed away the ones that they needed. Hopefully, if Dimmingsun found extra paws, they could build up their stores before the frost bit at the land. Or- were they already too late for that?
Finally... "Weaselchirp." He says, regarding the tunneler. "The tunnel idea that you guys had a pawful of moons ago. I want you to continue on that." Goldenroar asks. Ears twitched, looking amongst the crowd. "Sparrowburrow, Staggerdance, Harefoot. You are to go with Weaselchirp." Goldenroar says, turning his head back to the proclaimed lead of the patrol. "Finish any mapping that you can- dig out blockages caused by the rain. Anything you see fit to get us closer to that goal." Aqua eyes blinked, then regarding the whole of the crowd-
"Dismissed."
