it feels like its lungs are being squeezed in ways that are not from fun. it is not an out of breath feeling that is felt with a run after chasing a butterfly and tackling denmates. this was strangling, like claws ripping through lungs, as a wheeze leaves its mouth. it tries to remember that it can breath, its here and it needs to just take a deep breath in but it feels useless. it can't breathe very well, though it tries. but... it doesn't want to go to the scary herb den. it knows what happens there, and it doesn't want to go– its not ready to die.

"h...h.. ha...hel...p. hel...help."

a cough makes her fall over, closing her eyes as tears prick at her eyes. her vision feels like its darkening and her breath is wheezy, but yet another cough makes her lungs feel as if theyre on fire. she feels weak. she knows she needs help but stars she doesn't want to get it. shes scared of dying, but equally scared of getting help. she wished she could understand her mind but she is just a kit, naive to the world of understanding.
