A light flickered in the distance, something stirred - like a kitten drawn to the warm glow of the nursery den mouth she moves toward this new and enticing thing to find herself suddenly drenched in vibrant color once more. Something had happened, some shift, some change, the details were not clear to her yet but she had wasted no time in embracing her newfound freedom from the tangled thorns and cold shadows. The world was so different now, yet still achingly familiar. Her soul knew this place even if her eyes did not yet recognize it for what it was. Her paws dripping black and her eyes burning the point molly continues forward in her exploration and stumbles tall thicket walls enclosing an area all too close to her heart; yet this closeness was riddle in sharp and poison. The scent of pine would have made her retch if she had the olfactory senses to do so, the benefit of being dead was you simply didn't need to breath if you didn't want to and she'd gone without bothering for so long she was still as stone now, why waste the time clinging to living habits. Cats murmured in a hushed choir, talks of a battle, of those who died, of ThunderClan newly risen...of the stars that guided them here. The stars that warned them of danger, saved them from an ambush in the night.
She feels her hackles raise, teeth barred though none could see - she could stand in the open and go undetected but something kept her belly low to the ground and creeping; glittering dots speckling the heaven's above told her all she needed to know and more that the unfamiliar cats did not. Those ethereal fools had grown back into power and thought themselves saviors, the only way any mortal cat would know of ThunderClan and subsequently StarClan was to be told directly. What happened to their cryptic approach, their holier than thou refusal to do more than leave idle thoughts in dreams and crushed flowers as signs. The point molly's dark nose wrinkles in disdain, desperation bred boldness and she knew now what she intended to do about it.
To the marshland..., someone whispered, hushed tones to avoid upsetting young ears. This was where Sable had fled after the battle. Once again StarClan picks and chooses its favorites, holds ThunderClan aloft while the other clans are forgotten. Once again ShadowClan is left with nothing. Unless, she can revive it herself.
Afterall, they are in her old haunt now, the loamy earth and rich soil, the scent of rot and the nearby carrionplace in the air; it was not much, but it was home.
Inspired she takes back to the shadows, curled tail swaying as she makes her way swiftly without a pawstep to be heard through the winding pines and back to Fourtrees where the scent of blood is still thick in the air, she does not linger on this sacred place of stars, moves past it further into the soft soil and peaty texture of the place she was once almost known as Fleecestar if for a brief moment in time before her opportunity was ripped from her with jagged claws and sharp teeth. Black lips curling into a sneer she continues forward until she finds them, the rejected cats of the colony, chased away to pick up the scraps of their dignity in the aftermath of the heaven's blessed favortism and just as quickly she finds him. A cat addresses him as Sable, a brief exchange leaves him alone once more and she sweeps in to brush past him with sharp teeth in a sparkling smile, her eyes hollow and piercing,
Fleecefur's ice blue gaze flits from his face, gauging his reaction before she tilts her head with a smile that was too sweet to be sincere,

"You fought well, that you lost was not your own folly nor your followers. You were outed by the stars themselves, they came to warn your enemy of your plans from their comfortable sanctuary above. A place where 'good' warriors go when they fall, welcomed into a warm embrace and those they deem to ambitious, too harsh, they leave to the shadows to rot."
Fleecefur's ice blue gaze flits from his face, gauging his reaction before she tilts her head with a smile that was too sweet to be sincere,
"It is what they did to me. My methods too cruel for them, my intentions not pure enough, but I was once in the same place as you - serving a weak leader who would only lead my clan into prolonged suffering."
She can remember it all too well, the bitterness inside her as she watched what she had fought so hard to defend, to guard, be left neglected by a fool who would not fight for it with the same tenacity as she would. So she counted, one by one, until the dead of night she sought to remove that final obstacle only to be caught in the act and killed; how ironic that they would not kill to defend their clan from outsiders but they would turn their teeth on her without hesitation. "The stars have chosen their champions and you are left the loser, but who is to say they alone can recognize the potential of a group of cats? I can give you the same power as a leader with nine lives, I can offer you the advice those weak-spirited fools would never take. To the shadows you were chased, so the shadows you shall become. ShadowClan, the clan of cunning, the clan that survives and you...will be Sablestar, its leader, chosen by the darkness that embraced you where the light would not. Will you accept? Will you take what is rightfully yours?"
