Hello and welcome to Purrgatory! We are an 18+ Warrior Cat Roleplay set in an AU where the clans were unable to leave the forest territories and perished!
It has been 100 or more years since then, the clans of the forest are but distant memories to any cats still alive, stories passed down to kits of strangely named wild warriors and leaders with nine lives but the time of the clans is upon us once more and the stars shine yet again.
Magnoliapeak has never been a particularly sentimental cat. In fact, she (in some ways) viewed it for a long time as a sign of weakness. Of course her family came before all else, but they still had their faults and as someone who loved them it was up to her to be the hardest out of anyone else on them. That's how Hazelheart and Bracken had been with her and her siblings, and that, too, was how she planned to be with her own children when the time came. If she wanted solace and reassurance she would turn to her friends, not family. Still, she feels the absence of her cousins. And in many ways, their leave has exposed a yearning to connect with the family that remains in ThunderClan.
The dilute tortoiseshell moves quickly and quietly across camp. Not an unfamiliar sight any ThunderClan cat that knew her, but her purpose is a bit different today. "Juniperstar?" Magnoliapeak pokes her head into the leader's den in as polite of a manner as she can manage. She winces at the way that her voice sounds to juvenile as it rings out in the hollow. She releases a tension she didn't even know she had been holding when she realizes that Juniperstar is inside. "Um..." the question dies before it even begins. Uncharacteristic uncertainty from the ThunderClan warrior. "I had wanted to ask if you want to go for a walk, maybe?"
Despite her closeness with her mother and sisters, Magnoliapeak realizes that this might be the first time since the creation of ThunderClan that she has actively sought to spend time with any member of her family. And she further realizes that the majority of the time that she has spent before now has been training or being taught any number of things. Magnoliapeak leans backward as if thinking of fleeing should the leader turn down her suggestion, but her ears remain pitched forward and seeking an answer.
