{$title} sablestar sits at the thunderclan's side of the thunderpath, accompanied by him and juniperstars two sons
// pls wait for @juniperstar to post first!!
Their second time crossing the Thunderpath had gone a bit smoother than the first. There wasn't as much hesitancy, he had proven capable of keeping them safe the first time and a bit more confidence led to clearer heads as they set for the other side. The stretch of territory they sat at, about a tail-length away from the acrid pavement, had been ThunderClan's once again for the past moon and some. Sablestar had seen to it that his Clans ambitions were quelled, as the needless jump into danger just for a single mouse or squirrel was absurd.
Though the tuxedo is doubtful it won him any favors with his mate's Clan. The reputation they have painted him with may never wash away and perhaps it would be better that way... It had already leaned in his favor once before.
"Your mother may own every mouse-length of the forest, but we must still be respectful. You smell of ShadowClan." He reminded his sons as he licked the tops of their heads in soft affection. He had grown quite attached to them in the few weeks they stayed. Being a father felt easier than being a leader, some days, and watching them learn and grow for a bit of time in his Clan had brought him pride. His boys were made for ShadowClan, he could tell.
"I don't let even my strongest warriors cross into other borders without permission. It creates unnecessary conflict, and it is always to the benefit of yourself and your family for peace." The words may sound foreign coming from his voice to anyone but his own kin, knowing his history. But it is a truth he had lived by even before finding himself at the head of a rebellion.
