Branchkit heard that her friend was hurt, resting in the medicine cat den, but nobody had really mentioned to her how Talonpaw ended up there. First, she had to grab a little mossball - surely that could help cheer him up! She bounded towards the den, poking her head in quietly and looking around for her friend.
"Talonpaw!" she called out in a whisper, spotting the other cat resting in a nest. "Talonpaw, I came to visit! And I brought a mossball!" Gently, she flung the little ball over to his nest, where it landed just beside him. Branchkit trotted up to his nest and purred before sitting down, wrapping her tail around her paws.
"I heard you got hurt - are you okay? No one will tell me how, and I was worried..."
