what do you mean its been a year omg,,, it's been so cool watching the clans grow from the colonies and being able to participate in the growth as everyone ICly learns how to navigate the warrior code and settle into their territories. OOC its been a pleasure to chat with so many new and old faces and I've been really loving seeing all of these cool character concepts and plots pop up around the community <3

HAPPY ONE YEAR PURRGY!!!
i remember joining back in november of last year, and while i didnt really post before, i had lurked and was able to make a few friends thru my other friends posting and interacting. cant be happier to have a relaxing, positive environment to get me back into roleplaying after a few bad experiences the past few years. thank you purrg for being an awesome site and i cant wait for even more!! (and to be active this next year >:))

OK SO the og staff teams knows that i had been just a month after the worst day of my life when we first created the discord server :^) purrgatory has truly been my safe space for a variety of reasons over the past year, from the very beginnings where a friend group just wanted something fun. i truly do consider myself lucky to have been invited to create this place from scratch, and to still be here with you guys, GOING STRONG! i'm not even in any other RP space at the moment .. haven't been for a hot minute. purrgy is truly all i need, because it has it all: the environment, the commitment, the COMMUNITY. it's impossible for me to feel lonely when you guys are here. it's amazing

i remember when we were still crafting this xenforo platform and i made the entire site a very vibrant, blinding blood red. idk man i think we should have kept that. but dark gray is good too i guess /j
one of my more recent fond memories is when i was sitting in VC with a couple other friends; some drawing, some streaming, some gaming. it really just felt like we are in one room together ... parallel play !! it felt super cozy. purrgy often brings me to a much better headspace, it truly lifts me when i need something to keep me going. maybe that's #CRINGE because this is just a silly kitty rp, but ... all of you, from the veterans to the newest members, make it into something so much more :)

Crazy to think it's been one whole year since I joined. I was originally unsure about joining. By some stroke of luck (THANK YOU DEI!!!), I decided to give it a chance and I'm so glad I did! You guys were all so kind and welcoming from the start. I made that stinky little idiot in ShadowClan and no one held back in showering me with plots and welcomes. In the time since then, I've reconnected with old friends, made cherished new ones, I've cried, laughed, and just about everything in between. Being on staff has been a delight too, being able to contribute to this wonderful site in any small way I can. I'm hoping to many more years ahead because it's honestly been such a blast, and I'm truly grateful to everyone who had a part in making this wonderful site. I can tell it was a labor of love and that you guys worked really hard.

Please be proud of what you've made.

@lionharted I'm cursing you with a 1000 years of plots so you'll never escape me and will continue to be my friend. I know life's has been mean to you lately, but I'm glad you keep coming back. I would be amiss with our feral plotting sessions and taking turns at making one another cry. May Wadder one day know happiness again and our angsty shadowclan siblings be together forever.

@velou In another AU, Pike/Adder were probably star-crossed lovers, and I refuse to think anything less. They will be happy one day, and all will be well, I say as they drag me away to the white room. No but fr, RC has been so fun with you in it. You've entertained all of my crazy plot ideas, no matter how wild, and it's been SO FUN. Never stop bombarding me in DMs about our OC's.

@KARMEN Coding wizard extraordinare and my friend, please know that being able to plot with you over the last two months has been a joy. I bombard you daily, and you've never complained. Meadowpaw and Dimmingsun have been such fun to write, and I look forward to whatever lies ahead for them.

@Purrgy staff there are too many of us i'd cry if I had to tag you all. It has been amazing getting to work with you all. We've been through ups, downs, twists, turns, but it's always a joy. I never knew just how hard you all worked to keep this site going until I joined the team, especially you @Rai. We appreciate everything you've done for us and continue to do for us. May you always know the happiness in your life that this site has given me.

@gonkpilled (shadowclan father aka poo) and @tieirlys (thunderclan mother aka eden) its been amazing getting to be a part of your clans. I know it's a hell of a lot of work and my characters have done nothing but cause chaos and headaches, but please allow them to stay a little longer. Not that you could get rid of Fleafire if you tried Poe, I'm afraid she's parasitic, and even if she got stolen or died, she'd still come crawling back one way or another. Also, I'll never recover from the Serp/Juni (formerly) angst. My therapy bill is getting out of control.

@Howee We haven't known each other long, but we've become fast friends. You're such a fun and kind person, it's no surprise to me as to why. Yew and Meadow are doomed to break my heart in some fashion, but I hope their friendship persists. Can't wait to throw more of my characters at you.

@nya You've taken us for a wild ride over the previous month, and I'll never recover. Thank you for sharing your endless supply of yuri with me, I'll pay back with interest someday. RIP Serp, may the fields of starclan be lined with poison and lesbians in your honor.

@chuffera On a whim, I decided to make a barncat for eventual WindClan. On your suggestion, I made Meadow and introduced her to Nutmeg's family. Never would I have guessed she was gonna end up MCA or how important she would be to me. She's become my comfort character, and I look forward to all her future plots, especially with Nutmegpurr. Mist, please forgive your mentor and come visit him in exile. He's an idiot, but he's so proud of you.

I am honestly sitting here not knowing exactly what to say to show my gratitude to the site! I am so happy that savvy invited me over! So happy to see Rai thrive with her site, which has become so beautiful and amazing!! And even when days are a bit somber and difficult and the bad brain days tear you down, it lightens my heart so much when I peek in my chat and see people commenting there, small things that mean so so much. I feel welcome and happy here and I do not regret coming over not one bit! I've made so many friends and writen out so many stories! i've had the great honor and torture to be an admin since day one, rubbing rai's back anytime she breaks the damn site or grew worried it wasn't going to be all the wonderful things she dreamed it would be. but here we are! one year in and thriving, with a community that is so lovely and kind and compassionate and open. you guys have really made all the difference, being present and supportive and being generous enough to offer us your love and attention and patience.

it's hard to pinpoint a favorite memory because i spend so much time snooping the chats and not saying much lol but honestly that's... the best part. is just getting to watch everyone yammer away about their characters and plots and build friendships. the connection and openness from one person to the next is so refreshing and im so blessed to have met such cool new friends in the process of tormenting you all with loonstar!

thank you @nya for engaging in morally uncertain yuri with me, though they don't share the same breath anymore i look forward to serpent keeping her promise <3 thank you @muddly for hanging out with me in vc from time to time and being such an involved deputy. between the two of you a lot of weight has been taken off my shoulders that honestly really made me fearful i wouldn't be able to maintain being leader for very long lmao i am also so glad to see so many familiar faces from other places creeping in to join us at their own pace (blowing kisses to A LOT of you, you probably can guess who you are!!) and to new friends, of course (monte has a weapon and demands i let everyone know we Are friends because Discord Says So and discord Wouldnt lie) !! i look forward to getting to know all of you and your characters more deeply in the coming years and uhh... please come bother me, i dont bite!!!

I'm still pretty new to the site but gosh... y'all have been so welcoming and lovely and after having awful luck with warriors rp communities it feels so nice to finally find one that feels like an actual community. I've already enjoyed bringing my children into the world and am very excited for what the blursed litter may bring, I know I adore my baby Saffy and I can't wait for her to grow into a bitter molly.

I wuv this little group, my favourite thing abt it is how easily friends are made, everyone is so friendly and just... my cat being approached by so many and over time becoming best friends with other people's cats is just so nice. I love how welcoming the community is. My favourite memory is when I finally settled on a warrior name for Hollowmumble and realized how much I was coming to love her and how much she was becoming a fully fleshed out character.

i'd like to preface this with i do NOT write personally sappy very well. but, that being said, i can hardly believe it's been an entire year. an entire year of people joining us and engaging in the community- said community growing, strangers becoming friends, art and stories and tales being shared. complicated, ever changing relationships between characters being illustrated by a whole team of writers... it's a bit boggling. a whole year. this place has given me the joy of illustrating and challenging the geneticists with some crazy designs. this place has given me the avenue to explore each manner of character i have in mind with many more to come. i feel like there's more i could say, but i'll leave it there. friends of mine, thank you from the bottom of my heart. rai, especially; thank you, thank you, thank you. i know we all appreciate you and everything you do, and i need you to be reminded another time. that's all <3

real talk, i have been astounded with how much i have found a community here. i feel like the best of every wcrp site i've ever been on has converged here to make something really special! everyone i meet has been a treat to talk to and become friends with! i wanna shout out @carat and @BUZZ and @copper for following me here on a whim after kangoo invited me here. :) i also want to thank @tieirlys for allowing me to play my first ever deputy character. it's been such an honor and pleasure to plot by your side and i can't wait to see where this crazy train goes.
