{$title} Phase 3 prompt: Is that... a rainbow? Surely the sky itself is mocking WindClan at this point. But at least it looks pretty.

The red pelted warrior sat with a huff, exhaustion clung to his pelt as it did to all else in the clan. That was inevitable, just as the sun rose and set, but as was the end of the storms. For the torrential rains, they had finally receded. Though the camp had yet to be repopulated, they were all slowly starting to put their lives back together. Herb patrols recuperating what stocks were lost, hunting patrols restoring strength, and even the meeting gave them all a fleeting feeling of normality.

That being said, he rolled his new name about his maw as he perched on a rock, gazing up to the now clearing sky. Sparrowburrow.... It was... Perfect. They hadn't considered their warrior name, but what they were given was comforting. Named for the very thing they sought so much solace in since losing the barn. Even before it had, their and Meadow's snow burrow, laced in herbs and safety. Even in the face of so much strife, they had found the same comforts they once had before tragedy struck.

But, as the tortoiseshell gazed up, they had to blink in surprise. While the body of the rain had mostly subsided, there was still a gentle cascade that just about caught the light. Spread across the sky, a scatter of color, a rainbow cast over the territory. The irony was not lost on the warrior, for the suffering they had endured, that there was some small semblance of beauty in the wake of it all.

He had to scoff about it, dryly. It was stunning, but they couldn't deny it, and it was still nauseating. As if it were a mockery to them all. Or, maybe it was just a sign that things were to improve... Sparrowburrow wasn't sure, but still they remained with their neck craned up, watching in some muted curiosity. It seemed, despite all their turmoil, the world continued as if nothing was wrong, nor that nothing had been lost.

SPARROWBURROW They/He, Windclan Tunneler, 12 moons.

YEWKIT

.

Yewkit sat obediently in the temporary camp, soft drizzle falling on her pelt. She had gotten used to the constant presence of rain, and a light shower like this didn't disturb her at all anymore.

Despite the rain and cottony clouds overhead, the sun still shone down on them, unobscured by the source of the rain. The wet grass glistened like crystals in the sunlight and Yewkit wondered if her own dried tears had ever been so beautiful. In spite of all the devastation around them, they were still here, rebuilding. Yewkit found some comfort in that.

And when she turned around, she found the new warrior Sparrowburrow gazing up at the sky. Her own gaze moved upwards and that's when she saw it. An arch of colors Yewkit has never seen, stretching across the entire horizon. "What.. what is that?" she gasped in wonder. To her, it looked like StarClan was letting them know everything was going to be okay now, wrapping them in a colorful embrace. The sky under the arch was lighter, brighter, as if telling them the dark would not get them. Not anymore.

Yewkit sat there in wonder, unable to tear her gaze away from the sight, something she's never seen before in her life and most likely never would.
