Ravenmask had been working himself a bit more ragged during the rebuilding of the camp. He couldn't help it - he felt guilty laying about while the rest of the Clan worked so hard to find prey, herbs, and other supplies. He felt that need to prove his worth, despite the pain in his back leg.
Today, things were a bit quieter around the camp, and it seemed there were no immediate tasks at paw. Ravenmask stretched out in his nest, grimacing as his leg ached. He hadn't been very good at keeping up with his exercises either, and he was sure to get a mouthful from Dimmingsun and Meadowpaw soon enough. He flexed his leg slowly, rotating it in the moss, breathing a sigh of relief as a little bit of the ache vanished.
He really needed to get better at remembering to do those.
"I'm going to hunt with Dad, okay? Why don't you sit with Uncle Ravenmask, okay? I'm sure he'll tell you a good story." Vixenberry approached, Dreamkit in tow, and Ravenmask purred a greeting to his nephew.
"Of course I'll keep ya company, Dreamkit," he mewed. "Why dontcha settle in and tell me what kinda story ya wanna hear?"
