For the longest time SkyClan existed away from the main clans, unaware they fell and continued onward with their life in the ravine they resided in. Under the watchful eye of Coffeestar they remained peaceful and content though she passed around the same time an infestation of rats rose up once more as they had in ancient times and forced SkyClan to move. Their new leader, Hawkstar, chose to take her entire clan over mountains and through unknown territory to reunite with the forest. Assembled from a variety of kittypets, loners and any vagabond that happened to pass by, SkyClan is most known for having the most diverse of backgrounds among the clans - a regular hodgepodge of cats.

Hawkstar is nothing if not experienced, at least in leading her own clan. From Coffeestar's intimidating deputy to SkyClan's first leader in the forest (after successfully leading her clan through a perilous journey) Hawkstar has proven herself to be hard-headed, unwavering, and indomitable. However, Hawkstar's experience in interclan politics is non-existent due to the isolation of the SkyClan before - a fact that stays heavy on her mind as the clans begin to coalesce into this new era.

JANUARY 2025

SKYCLAN JANUARY '25 ANNOUNCEMENTS

"StarClan has looked upon us favorably this day! Welcome, my loves, my hearts, my family, to our new home."

Maiseyleg, a daylight warrior who'd gotten sick on the day of departure, finally catches up to the clan after recovery. Hawkstar is less than pleased to see Maiseyleg, but the late arrival stands her ground. When they depart from Tigger's house, the clan still feels the wear and tear of traveling. A group of cats huddled together leaves them vulnerable to the elements, and worse, predators. Flowercloud spots a hawk circling above, and despite her warning call, Downykit can not hear it. She is lifted into the sky by it's talons. Hawkstar tries to grapple the beast, but fails due to her still-recovering fox injuries, and loses her second life. Batwing is able to secure himself onto the hawk, and Cherry helps out her clanmate to save Downykit. After two months of travel, two months of heartache and stress, SkyClan finds salvation in the pine trees. They're currently living in peace, unaware of their neighbors existence.

Hawkstar welcomes the clan to their new home, on her bark covered throne– the clan's first meeting in the forest. Bumblepaw, Ponypaw, Asphodelpaw, and Cherry earn their warrior names.

A still adjusting Fujimoto sends out hunting patrols as his first Sun Guard task.

Fujimoto is chosen as Hawkstar's first Sun Guard, much to his surprise!

Momo, a woodys scented cat with a bedazzled collar, joins SkyClan's ranks!

Hawkstar succumbs to her still healing injuries from the fox, while trying to save Downykit from the hawk.

Fitzgerald slips away to meet and greet some of the local kittypets to get a taste of his former life once more. He's unknowingly followed by Rosepaw, Hawkstar's apprentice and grade A snitch who silently sneaks off to report back…

DECEMBER 2024

SKYCLAN DECEMBER '25 ANNOUNCEMENTS

"It is with no pleasure that I announce to you that StarClan has blessed me with nine lives..."

With the loss of Coffeestar and the fear of being overrun by rats, Hawkstar takes the lead with Flowercloud by her side to journey to far lands that's destined for them… After receiving her nine lives, Hawkstar calls her first meeting, and last one in the rocky gorge. She promotes Flowercloud to be her deputy, assigns mentors to newly apprenticed Teaselpaw, Rosepaw, Lavenderpaw, and Cygnetpaw. Duskpool and Mousefang are relieved of their duties as Sunguard following Hawkstar's ascension. Meadowlark, the clan's medicine cat, steps down from her position, leaving Tigerfoot to take the mantle. Needing an apprentice, he asks Swallowpaw, who accepts.

Skyclan picks up a handful of scrappy, young cats while in the gorge. Falcon, Arabesque and Flicker are all found separately and taken in.

Births, include parents and how many kits.

Shortly after Hawkstar's meeting, Batwing begins a vigil for the fallen Coffeestar.

Their first trek is through the forest next to the gorge, they encounter their first snowfall of the season. It's peaceful, a stark contrast to the creepy, whispering gorge that's covered in a thick layer of fog.

In the midst of the fog, a fox suddenly attacks the clan. During the chaos, Ponypaw hears the voice of Coffeestar, beckoning her to safety. The apprentice flees and slips into the cold, cold river. She is saved by Sagesong, but she is freezing from the unexpected, ice bath in leafbare.

Afterwards, during a blizzard, the clan is called into the home of a friendly kittypet by the name of Tigger. They bunker down to wait out the cold, and lick their wounds.
