Hello and welcome to Purrgatory! We are an 18+ Warrior Cat Roleplay set in an AU where the clans were unable to leave the forest territories and perished!
It has been 100 or more years since then, the clans of the forest are but distant memories to any cats still alive, stories passed down to kits of strangely named wild warriors and leaders with nine lives but the time of the clans is upon us once more and the stars shine yet again.
MARBLE OF SHADOWCLAN
The soft rustle of undergrowth was the only sound as Marbleshine crept forward, her paws light against the leaf-strewn forest floor. Her ears twitched, trained on the quiet scuffle of prey just ahead, maybe a mouse, or a thrush if she was lucky. She held her breath, muscles coiled, eyes sparkling with focus.
Snap!
Too slow... The mouse vanished into the brambles with a flick of its tail, and Marbleshine let out a little puff of breath. But rather than frown, she simply gave a cheerful shrug and a small, amused chirp. " Well… next time... " she whispered to herself with a hopeful smile. She had been training after all, Wolfpack had complimented her on that. And the day was long still, she wouldn't be surprised if she managed to catch some prey before she headed back home!
As the sun climbed higher, she felt the soft golden beams against her pelt, peeking out from between the trees. Her pawsteps were gentle as she followed the light slope toward the Fourtrees. The air felt different here... Open, ancient, like the land was holding its breath. Marbleshine had always liked this place. It felt important, like the forest itself paused to listen.
She paused at the edge of the clearing, her nose twitching. There was a scent... Not ShadowClan, not ThunderClan, not any clan she knew. Marbleshine's eyes widened with bright curiosity, ears perking forward. Could this be one of the new clans she'd heard whispers about? Her heart skipped with excitement, not fear. She'd never met a cat from beyond the known clans before!
Without hesitation, she gave a soft, melodic chirrup and stepped into the clearing, tail raised in a friendly wave. " Hello? " she called, voice warm and filled with hope. " I don't recognize your scent, are you from one of the new clans? Oh, that's so exciting! I'm Marbleshine, from ShadowClan! " Her whiskers twitched with delight as she gave a friendly wiggle of her shoulders. " It's so nice to meet you! "
