Dog had stayed behind as Pikestar moved many of RiverClan's ranks to Juniperstar's moonlight party. She couldn't trust it wasn't for something sinister, or that someone might take advantage. She had heard ShadowClan would be there, and what better time to squash what little remained of Jinglemoon's den than tonight? The shadow-hearted cowards wouldn't catch a single leaf if she could help it. "I'm gonna regret this tomorrow on my morning patrol." Dogflicker grumbled as she stepped close to the border to the oaks.
The moon hung heavy in the sky, starlight flickered above the pair.
