Camp Swimming lessons || Weather Fam

Sunnysplash stretched out in the morning sun. Pausing, she looked up at the sky and saw only little puffy white clouds. Smiling she purred as she poked her head back into the den, "Rainkit, Galekit, Thunderkit! It's time to wake up!" She purred. "I have something special planned for y'all today!!"

She had yet to tell her kits that she was planning on doing swimming lessons with them in a small stream just near the edge of camp. It was just deep enough for them to be able to stand if need be and practice kicking their legs for swimming too.

Even when she was a kittypet she had always loved water and she was so excited to share her joy of it with her kits now that they were old enough.

Thunderkit was quick to stir; she was bundled safely and comfortably with her siblings surrounding her, both sleeping soundly at her sides. Though she was aware of the loss of warmth as her mother left their side, hearing her voice break the soothing quiet of her slumber was a surprise. Despite that, her face parted with a smile as she looked up at the warm face of Sunnysplash; she always thought her name suited her; she really was like the sun. The warmth in the cold leaf-bare, the light in the dark, storm-filled nights. Thunderkit was determined to show she was brave, like Wavesong, but she still sought her mother's comfort in those bought of fear she was adamant wasn't her being scared.

It took her a moment to register what her mother had said, her eyes lighting up as she sprung to her feet, nudging her siblings to stir them away, too. "C'mon c'mon! I wanna see what Mama has to show us!" Her soft eyes glittered brightly; she was only small, but any venture was a sure-fire adventure in her mind; it'd leave her buzzing for days afterwards. Just coming to the Riverclan territory was enough to leave Thunderkit excitedly bounding.
