I FOSTER THE FIRE IN ME
"You have got to be kidding me!?"
The shrill sounds of an angered teenager break through the camp's entrance long before she does. Her mentor makes long strides before her, but the tortoiseshell molly lopes to try and keep up with him. Anyone who looks at Trembletuft would see that the tom is, at best, barely holding himself together and, at worse, moments from thrashing his own apprentice. He says nothing to her, but Tenebrouspaw does well to ensure everyone knows his transgressions.
"Tick duty!? For a whole moon? You're eating dirt out of a squirrel's hind end if you think you can hold me back like that!" She spits at him, and though he pauses to level a glare towards the molly, she does not stand down. She is a wildfire that's already grown to massive and beastly. She gnashes her teeth at him, "What was I supposed to do? Walk away? He threatened me, Trembletuft, I -" mid speech, her mentor turns from her again, swiftly walking past her and out the camp's exit once again. Her eyes widen, though she is not surprised. The tortoiseshell molly has grown used to his nature to keep his maw shut, has vaguely understood their pairing to be that of hope in that he would teach her as much, too. Unfortunately, the opposite is happening.
She shouts after him, "You're a no-good, flea-bitten, swamp-sniffer! I'm gonna... I'm gonna... ugh!!" He doesn't care. Or, if he does, he's removed himself from the situation to keep himself from saying anything he shouldn't. Tenebrouspaw is left centermost to camp, as if the ground around her is singed and dying, her eyes wild and her jaw clenched. But, to anyone's surprise, she finally stops.
