Owlbark found her as she left the warrior den for the morning. The sun was creeping over the horizon, hazy and slow. The light from it did nothing to warm the cold air that seeped beneath his pelt. He did his best to fluff up his pelt against it. It was useless. Even tucking his chin into his chest fur did little to stave off the chill. Magnoliapeak was the first observer to his plight. He would see him trying his best to fight off the unwelcome cold.
"Patrol with me," he muttered and rose from where he sat. The deputy did not wait for a response before stalking from camp and into the territory. He knew she would follow.
