Goldenroar is the kind of cat that seems to carry his own sunlight with him. He stands taller then average, his silhouette striking even at a distance. His build is of broad shoulders and muscular body. He is built with a natural nobility rather than the lean and agile lines of a wolfish runner. His legs, though long and capable of real Windclan-based speeds, hold a grounded strength- each stride comes across clear, steady and confident. He carries the mantle of Deputy well.
Golden, red and white markings decorate his face in soft, expressive shapes, almost betraying the confident build. Near-like heart patterns bloom over his eyes, their curves tracing down over his cheekbones in gentle sweeps of color. His muzzle is dipped in white, clean yet it blends into the undertone of his pelt. Across his body, a classic red-tabby pattern winds across his sides, the stripes vivid and warm against the gold in his coat. Altogether, the colors speak to the tones of embers and honey, glowing even in low light.
His fur itself is well taken care of, a marvel almost. It gathers densely around his neck and chest in a full mane. The curls are thick and soft, framing his face in sunkissed golden and tawny tones. On his forehead, the fur is pushed up and back before blending into the mane, giving him a perpetually windswept look- nearly regal, effortless, and perhaps a bit dramatic. His coat elsewhere is sleek and plush. It is clearly well taken care of and cleaned of burrs or grasses often. His tail is long and expressive, a powerful counterbalance when he runs. It's thick and plush, like his fur. When he runs, it trails behind him like a banner.
As of now, he bears no scars, an unusual sight for a cat of his age. It lends him an almost youthful purity in that regard. His slightly protruding upper teeth give a coy look- it's almost disarming in the face of a lion-appearanced deputy.

On the surface, he is the kind of individual people would naturally gravitate towards- charistmatic, smooth-talking, confident, and effortlessly charming. He knows how to make others feel seen and valued, and he's helpful in a way that's genuine instead of performative. To most, he comes across dependable and kind, with the wisdom behind him to carry others through most.But, beneath that polished exterior, lies a far more complex cat.
Goldenroar is deeply calculating, someone who considers most angles before acting. His wisdom isn't soft or philosophical; its a pragmatic, lived-in, shaped by experience kind of beast. He reads cats easily, sometimes too easily, which feeds a powerful judgmental streak. While he is often kind, he also believes some failings are the result of personal weakness, and he rarely hides his disappointment. His honesty can be painfully direct and to the point.
His idealism runs deep, but not in a dreamy kind of way. He holds tightly to how he believes cats should function in a clan, the way they should run. Less of a personal code, however, and just how he's seen the world. What it runs on, who survives where- this stems from his history of being dumped as a younger cat. When someone betrays him, or his expectations and gets all sorts of cats in danger, his disappointment turns icy. His cold anger is silent, cutting, and far more terrifying then the roar he may be known for. He remembers every slight, and though he rarely strikes back immediately- speaking to a more defensive combat style- he is quietly, meticulously vengeful.
He knows the value of patience when it comes to settling debts.
Despite his strengths, weaknesses, and neutralities, he carries a streak of shameless pride. He knows he competent- that he's desirable, the effects he has on cats he chases.
