ThunderClan Mentor Assignments

Name: Saltpaw
Potential plots for apprenticeship: Saltpaw is going to be very difficult (or has been this entire time, given she's 8 moons and will be 9 moons next month, so a reassignment?) with an aggressive and sharp disposition. Someone she butts heads with but will eventually teach her structure would be nice, or a mentor she can walk all over would be fun too. It's clear that despite her size, he's still verrrry wicked sharp about fighting. Hunting is relatively weak so that needs to be worked on.
Activity level: flexible, leaning casual but definitely flexible!
Notes: Nothing specifically I want to add!

Name: Rufouspaw
Potential plots for apprenticeship: Rufouspaw, despite her friendly and lively demeanor, can never quite bring herself to trust anyone and believes she must be ready to face off against all sorts of potential threats; the one thing she's learnt from her highly controlling father is that the world will forever be against her. Thus, learning how to fight is an imperative. How else will she defend herself against her own clanmates, should the time arise? She also believes rising above her peers will earn their respect and a degree of relative safety. Rufouspaw will want a mentor focusing exclusively in combat (to the detriment of all other skills) who can match her intensity, but will need someone to teach her the value of peace and the social side of Clan life... what her surroundings are, too. Growing up in near complete isolation will do that to you, huh?

1. Rufouspaw is the leader of the apprentice fight club and as such will be going behind her mentor's back very, very often. If they're the law-abiding kind, she will very likely resent them for supporting Juniperstar's "weakness" and act out, but will otherwise not voice her opinions to them until they reach a certain level of trust. Either way, it will take a certain level of sheer strength for her to obey their orders, and she will likely spread (her version of) their fighting style across the newer members of the fighting ring. I'd rather have someone who doesn't catch onto all of this immediately to allow her group to reach critical mass on its own!

2. Rufouspaw will get deeply attached to her mentor in spite of how little she thinks of authority figures, and even begin to see them as her parental figure... which, given how the only parent she ever had maimed her, will also alarm her and lead to an increased amount of outbursts and a hot-and-cold demeanor around them. She might pull through, or she might close herself off for good... it all depends on her mentor's emotional skills.

Activity level: Active primary
Notes: Rufouspaw has mild nerve damage on one leg and is the host of a dissociative system, but it's not really the focus of her planned character arc! :3

Name: Coyotepaw
Potential plots for apprenticeship: Coyotepaw will be part of the apprentice fight club. They have been and will continue to be a difficult apprentice. He will pick fights with his mentor and generally won't be very obedient. She's also prone to take risks.
Activity level: casual/flexible/high - you may also use tertiary / secondary / primary to explain character priority
Notes: She lost an eye prior to joining Thunderclan with six moons, so she wouldn't have started training right away.

Name: Webpaw
Potential plots for apprenticeship: she's a mean girl and resistant to authority; eventually she'll be joining the fight club but is not a founding member. would love for an argument with her mentor to be something that leads her to the group!
Activity level: casual to medium; i tend to check my alerts often during the day
Notes: she's annoying, please help me put her in her place

Name: @FLICKERPAW
Potential plots for apprenticeship: She is part of the fight club, meaning she is a very combat-focused apprentice. Flickerpaw is obedient, nice, and polite... towards the adults, anyway. Her mentor will likely not have a problem with her, unless they find out about her almost bully-like behavior towards those that she deems weak.
Activity level: Flexible to high
Notes: She is currently about 10 moons old and if possible, I'd like for her to achieve an early warrior ceremony!

Name: @Fogsight
Experience level: very experienced hunter and survivalist
Activity level: very casual
Notes: his teaching style is very soft and compreensible, he would try to push the app to be his best and an honorable cat but in a very soft way

Name: @Cardinalpaw
Potential plots for apprenticeship: she is very focused on surviving and believes in the survival of the strongest. She would respect her mentor as long as they teach her how to fight and survive well. If her mentor is too soft, she will be disrespectful and try to learn things on her own
Activity level: casual/flexible
Notes: im up for a harsh or soft mentor. If harsh she will thrive in her own way. If soft, she may learn that strenght is not everything, which im up to!

Name: @GINGERFLAME
Experience level: Low, has not mentored before
Activity level: Flexible
Notes: Gingerflame has an outwardly kind demeanor and will try to maintain that image while mentoring, but he will struggle the most with rowdy apprentices. Those who push his boundaries will experience stricter regimens and will be subjected to his harshness. Outside of this, while Gingerflame has never mentored another cat before is more than happy to share his experience as a forager with those who would like to learn this line of work. Gingerflame excels in nest making and altering scent trails. He can do the other mentioned skills in the forager rank description, and can pass them down, but by no means is he excellent in them. However, he continuously tries to better his skills especially in the areas he is weak in. In short, his training can be strict depending on the apprentice given to him!
