The molly muttered apologies, funeral rites for skulls that had cursed her clan once again. She thought the dead appeased, but in her mind, she could not shake the guilt; it was all her fault they had risen again to strike her home with nothing but disaster. Cats sick and dying, prey so scarce she had begun to lose weight beneath her slick lilac pelt. It was all too much for Stoatstream to handle, not when the weight of the dead pressed against her pelt.

An outwardly delicate appearance, with long feathery ivory fur that tufts at her ear tips, cheeks and joints especially. Mostly, the ivory colouration of her extremities and chest is a soft lilac that has darkened as she has aged, particularly around her eyes. With a long hair crest and long fluffy tail, she is an unusual-looking figure within the pocosin, standing out in the daylight but blending in beneath the moonlight. Her eyes have darkened with age, but are still a vibrant blue that pierces the same as in her youth.

At a first glance, Stoatstream seems nothing more than a pretty face, regarded as a delicate flower amongst the brutes of Shadowclan, but truth is more than meets the eye.
A molly raised in harsh conditions and coddled to no end, she's grown into a strong yet reserved warrior, determined to continue proving herself to her clan. To those who are aware but not close to her, she is distant and collected, but tries to be amicable in discussions with other clans. She is more openly kind towards Windclan, distant but polite to Skyclan and Thunderclan and distant and fearful of Riverclan.
As a warrior, she is observant and level-headed in most scenarios. High-pressure events push her to her limits, but she tends to shut down rather than overreact. Only in high-emotion scenarios does she crack, and even so, she tends to step away from prying eyes as she is not comfortable displaying her emotions around others, even those she trusts. She has learned to be adaptable in all sorts of scenarios, capable of hunting in many environments even despite her inability to hear. She works around her deafness and has become extremely careful with soft steps and a quieter cadence of voice.
However, while Stoatstream tries to be as amicable and compassionate as she can to all cats, there is only so far she can push it. She was raised coddled and seen as soft; as a result, she's gotten into a habit of lying about anything she deems necessary. She's lied and hidden a lot of her actions, going against her mentor and father's wishes for things she has deemed correct and above their judgment and lies freely and easily to them and others where she sees fit. There are very, very few cats who know her entire truth; some know the same fragments, but for the most part, she has a facade she holds up to her clan. Only those she has grown to truly trust have gotten to see the mask slip.

Stoatstream, while not easy to befriend, is open to talking with cats of any clan. While she is distrusting of Riverclan, even cats from across the river have become friends of hers. She understands clan politics but does not see borders as a reason not to have friends from other clans, though rising tensions make it difficult to maintain connections.
She holds new cats at a tail's length for her own well-being, but given enough time and maintaining trust, Stoatstream is an affectionate and compassionate friend who puts those she loves before herself. While her known biological family is small, she loved her adopted siblings as if they were blood. She had learned kin does not require blood as she would move the earth itself for her siblings and dotes on any kittens her father becomes caretaker of.
