Riverclan's controversial leader due to his actions, or lack thereof in regards to Shadowclan stealing the clans herbs. Despite the turmoil within Riverclan, he remains kind. He has always been more than willing to extend a paw to those who need it, even if they are enemies much to the chagrin of his clan. While he understands that he can't afford careless mistakes, he can't get rid of his compassion. Friend, stranger, or enemy it doesn't matter. He will always seek to understand (to varying success) another's situation and will try his best to lend his aid. No matter how clumsy, he will always try to do his best. Unfortunately there are those who take advantage of his kindness and compassion.

While he may be a leader, Pikestar has his fair share of faults. He is extremely indecisive, unable to come up with a decision he is proud with. Before becoming a leader, he relied on others to make decisions. All he had to do was followed what was said, which made life easier. However, as a leader he is unable to completely let others come up with decisions. Slowly he has gotten better at... Leading, but progress is slow and its one of his habits that is hardest to break. Even now, he relies on his council (some more than others) to help him run the clan. Especially Frostmoth, who organizes patrols. The poor deputy really needs a raise and a break at this point.

One thing is certain. Pikestar has a lot to learn before he can truly lead Riverclan.
