It has been 100 or more years since then, the clans of the forest are but distant memories to any cats still alive, stories passed down to kits of strangely named wild warriors and leaders with nine lives but the time of the clans is upon us once more and the stars shine yet again.

"You said you got a friend over there?" Grizzlypaw lazed over the sun-warmed stone with his entire body, all four limbs spread out like a freshly unraveled carpet of rosetted fur. The river bubbled and tumbled beside them as a purr resounded from the tom's chest as the spray cooled him from the growing heat from Sunpaw's namesake.
"Did I tell you how I took a dip in a couple moons ago? Total epic fail on that one. It felt like I was getting eaten by the river until the other Clan showed up and saved me." Grizzlypaw rubbed his chin over the stone that ended up wiggling down his whole body as he adjusted himself. "They gotta be part fish over there. It's the only explanation!"
