LITTLEKIT, They/Them / 3 moons / Starclan - Kit
Black self / Cinnamon ticked tabby chimera with a pronounced right fang

For all the time that Littlekit would generally avoid most other Starclan cats, whenever it came to things about the living ones they couldn't help but be curious. Even after the few times Littlekit had accidentally (and purposefully) managed to view the living world closer, they didn't manage to really make an impact. For one, they weren't sure that their family could see them— and that older black and white cat, Littlekit felt immense unease around them... Like they were obscured when Littlekit saw them. That cat felt deeply different from the rest of their family, it both scared and angered the kitten but they never told any other Starclanner this just yet partly because they had no idea how to phrase it. Also, they wanted to figure it out themselves too!

In a more exciting turn of events there were the few times he could see cats sleeping! It was as if Littlekit could tell that they were dreaming in a strange way. It was odd, but it was a part of being in Starclan that Littlekit actually liked, it had nothing to do with a flow of knowledge, or any of the things that the older cats tried to tell them.

There were lots of cats that they could see sleeping now, more and more were 'emerging' within Littlekits 'view' over time. It just became increasingly interesting to the phantom youngster. Their interest was so grasped by this to the point that Littlekit actually partly engaged with some older Starclan cats— mostly listening to what they were talking about. They had been talking about 'Windclan' more and more now! So that meant that there were... Five Clans? Thunderclan, Skyclan, Riverclan, Windclan and... Shadowclan which was spoken with more worry by the older cats. Could that be connected to Littlekits unease towards that one living cat? It didn't really matter right now because the focus was on Windclan!

Littlekit observed (and eavesdropped) on some conversations here and there, hearing about Windclan having a new leader and being in need of a medicine cat too. The name that Littlekit heard spoken the most in regards to this was 'Glade'. What a pretty name, Littlekit thought. Was this cat special? Sure sounded like it!

Overhearing further that a Starclanner would need to go and reach out to Glade, tell them about their new duty, and grant them a new name— a longer name that sounded a lot more like the names of the cats here in Starclan— Littlekit got a bit excited, and also impatient. It really did sound like Glade was supposed to be the medicine cat for Windclan, so why was nobody already going to see them? If what Littlekit had heard about the current state of the new Windclanners was true, they needed a medicine cat, and they needed one soon!!

With a triumphant huff and determined flick of their tail, Littlekit rushed off to seek out the dreaming mind of Glade themselves! So, how did the older cats do this... Littlekit tried their best to remember as they searched for Glade's dreams. Eventually they saw the place in Starclan that would connect them to Glade. With a deep calm breath, Littlekit stood firm and nudged their nose against the veil that would allow them to reach the medicine cat to be...

In the blink of an eye, Littlekit was both in a different, yet identical place to where they were before, it was like Starclan's 'territory' yet also not! So was this how interacting with dreams worked? "Wow..." Littlekits eyes gleamed with curiosity as they looked around slowly. "Helloooo? Glade? Are you there?" Littlekit called out, walking forward. "My name is Littlekit, um... Can we talk? I promise I'm friendly!" Littlekit giggled, this was kind of fun!

Oh, oh, oh, why...

Set me free...

It seemed that once everything finally settled after the fire as they settled in their new territory, Glade had done her best to stabilize the worst of the wounds with her limited medical knowledge. She appeared to be the only person with reasonable herbal knowledge who could assist everyone, and what everyone else knew was nonsense that hardly touched the surface of what she or the others needed, so it was emotionally and physically taxing. An exhausted sigh leaves her lips as she snuggles into her mate's fur as her paws ache from helping everyone settle into the new territory that Dusty (or Dustystar now) brought them to. Her weary gaze slowly flutters before exhaustion takes her into its swooning arms as she falls asleep with the comforting embrace of Beetle's scent. Her dreams slowly form as she believes that it's just reflection; if she could just take a deep breath and relax and plan her future with her mate, until a voice calls out to her.

Her heart hitches into her throat as a small kitten comes bounding towards them as she idly remembers Beetle and her planning to sometime have kits. Was this her dream telling her that it would be okay to have a litter with her soulmate? However, something feels different about this dream from the others. This kitten seemed to know her but didn't call out to her in any maternal figurement, so she wonders if she's dreaming on what the next day would be like for her.
"Oh... hello,"
Glade would murmur softly as she slowly appeared before Littlekit as she glanced at the starry-furred child with a mix of confusion. Her eyes wander around, taking in her surroundings and the odd but comforting vibes they gave off—the sense that she would not be hurt here.
"Littlekit?"
The chocolate tabby whispers before shaking her head to remove her thoughts before nodding.
"Of course. What do you need, Littlekit? Are you okay?"
She rasps softly as she observes the younger feline for any sense of injuries, but she doesn't notice anything.

Was there a Littlekit in the barn? It was strange... What did they need to talk about?

Bounding around, looking under and over things with a newfound energy. It was strange being in a situation like this but it was also fun! While wandering, Littlekit tried their best to remember all of the things they had heard about Windclan so far— they didn't want to say anything rude or wrong after all.

It didn't take all that long to find the cat that Littlekit was looking for, the fluffy chocolate tabby with a bunch of white on them that the other Starclanners described, down to every last detail. Littlekit gave a beaming smile and blinked a few times as they looked up at Glade; the older cat certainly had a certain vibe about them, a soft one, a caring one. "Yay! I found you!" They mewed, wiggling a little in excitement. "It was a bit easier than I thought..." Was Littlekit just good at this dream jumping thing? Was it dumb luck? Or was this medicine cat business part of it? Well, whatever, Littlekit finally got to talk to a true living cat, face to face, kind of! "Uhm," Littlekit looked at the ground sheepishly, they didn't think they'd get this far in truth. However, since they were here now, it fell to them to deliver some very important news it seemed. Rather than dumping everything onto Glade all at once, maybe it would be better to chat with them first?

"I'm okay, yeah!" Indeed they were, their shimmering pelt glittering with stars showing no signs of injury at all. "How is uhm, Windclan? The other cats? I've heard you've helped them heal, and I've sort of seen it too. How did you learn to do all of that?" Littlekit sat down gently as if to respect the space that was Glade's dream with utmost care. "Do you like plants? Cuz I think they like you back! They give you their healing powers and you help other cats with them... It's special, I think. How do you feel about it?"

Oh, oh, oh, why...

Set me free...

Littlekit exudes waves of excitement, and the sight instantly causes a smile to form at the corners of her lips. They seem thrilled that they found her but Glade always considered herself to be easy to find as she was always somewhere nearby in case someone needed her, especially in these times. She offers a gentle smile and nods at the ticked tabby, "You must've looked hard for me, huh?" The chocolate tabby would murmur softly. Littlekit murmurs something about that it being easier than expected. Had he been playing some game with the other kits and she was the secret treasure or some endgame of it? They always seemed to have such imaginative thoughts at times that it warmed her heart to think of herself when she was a kit herself.

The other assures that they're fine and then asks a question that makes a fictional eyebrow raise. "We're okay. It helps that everyone came together to help everyone to get here safely." Glade would answer earnestly as she glances in the direction of camp as the corners of her eyes crinkle with a smile, pride shining in her eyes. This entire Windclan thing was strange but if Dusty believed that this is what would help us all come together by following Starclan then she'd follow in suite. "Most escaped unscathed but Dusty— Dustystar and Meadow and some others were injured badly." She admits with a feign frown as she dreads to know that Meadow would most likely have to have her leg removed somehow due to how severe the injuries were.

"I learned when I traveled because I always felt like it would be good to know in case anything happened." Glade would respond as she smiles down at Littlekit as they settle before her. The plants liked her? A warm giggle leaves her as her eyes twinkle with warmth as she nods in agreement. "Do they? I've always loved nature." The chocolate-colored cat would coo softly. The plants gave her special powers to help others with? She blinks slowly before nodding at Littlekit's words. "Yeah, I'd like that. I always loved helping others and making them smile."
