————————————— Everything must come to an end ✦

The molly was restless, between the search for Leafpaw and the pressure of leafbare on the clan, she couldn't seem to stand still. Even sparring with her friends didn't seem to silence the clawing beneath her pelt.

Snapdragontooth wandered the territory, blanketed snow numbing her paws as she found herself at the edge of the territory, the scent of water catching her maw. Without thinking, she'd managed to wander to the Riverclan border. A sneer crossed their maw, planning to turn away and return to camp, but her tail flickered, gaze landing on Sunningrocks. Their tail flit behind her, eyes lingering. The sun was high for the leafbare day, maybe she could rest for a short while? Keep an eye on the border as she tried to stifle her mind.

It wandered to the rocks, pressing a paw to them. The warmth wasn't extensively different to that of the air around them, but it was enough to take a break to rest. With a leap, they perched atop the rocks, chuffing as they lay down. Like a silent sentinel, they watched Riverclan's border, eyes flickering to the frigid flowing water just some breaths away. The water was not frozen, but beneath was scarce movement of fish. She would have darted a paw for a catch if there was-- but then again, cold sodden paws sounded utterly unappealing.

She would have liked to keep her rest uneventful, peaceful even, but the scent of a cat on the wind made its fur stand on end. A Riverclan cat. Suddenly, the sentinel was now crouched on guard, eyes narrowing, waiting to see who was approaching. It wasn't meant to cause trouble, but if she didn't start it- well. Frankly, it didn't matter if she did; she'd blame whoever gave her a look she didn't like.

Lavenderspring enjoys the river, regardless of which border it runs along. She supposes that being raised beside it has given her this natural affinity towards the tides and rapids, no matter how cold it is. The molly does wander closer to ThunderClan's stretch for selfish reasons, however her overall motive is to simply fish up one or two decent kills to bring home again. The river has yet to freeze over, and though she would prefer to not have freezing paws... she's already trekked through all the snow, hasn't she? This is hardly a step different.

She arrives opposite to Sunningrocks, and instantly she sees a round ball of fur atop of them. It shifts, and she's sure if she had any better vantage point, she would be able to see if it was looking towards her. Admittedly, she couldn't care less for the stranger. From this distance, Snapdragontooth looked either like an overgrown squirrel or a malnourished bear, and Lavenderspring was disinterested in tussling with either.

She wanders atop the first stepping stone, watching the cold waves as they lap against her ankles. With all the snow flashing light towards her and the water reflecting it, too, it makes fishing a modicum more difficult. But.. - ah! - her paw juts out quickly and strikes a fish just as it breeches the surface of the water. It must've come up to eat some floating bug that she hadn't seen. Regardless, the fish flies out of the water with the force, and Lavenderspring jumps up to latch her teeth into it, bringing her body down into the rapids with an unfortunate splash.

The blue furred molly returns to the shore, unaware of just how far her spray of water made it.
