Well I know you're afraid,
but if even just one of us has faith...

TWINKLE(TUFT), She/Her / 8 moons / Riverclan Apprentice
Fluffy rosetted silver tabby molly with tweed white hairs and soft blue eyes
Daughter of ASTRO and NEBULA, Sibling to COMET(TAIL), & ECLIPSE(SHADE)
Whimsical and oddly wise beyond her years if not a bit silly, has dexterous paws that are good for making things, goofy and bluntly honest

Scurrying back to camp, Twinklepaw makes her way directly to the medicine cat den to put away the herbs she had found before she ran into her uncle Jinglemoon. She was sure that he would be okay, and she had something to do, she was determined to help, to right the wrong that had curled its vines around Riverclan. Twinklepaw could tell things were tense before she had gone out to collect some herbs, but after speaking to her uncle she felt the weight of that tension was worse than she had initially anticipated.

What could she do... Jinglemoon reacted in shock and perhaps even fear when she mentioned just three names, Pineheart, Froststorm, Russetfall. She only even suggested those three because from what she could gather, they were dependable cats, there were others, namely the Lifeguards, but listing them all off would've taken too long and Jinglemoon's reaction caused her to back off on naming anyone else. Was it because they were also Lifeguards? Hmm.

Exiting the medicine cat den as softly as she had entered so as to not disturb anyone, Twinklepaw took a look around camp. Most other cats she could see were keeping to themselves, or to just a few others. Abnormal considering that things were usually pretty festive around here. It was at that point that she noticed that the medicine cat den was being... Avoided? Other cats gave it a wide berth by the looks of things. Why?

Why indeed.

Could Jinglemoon's reaction to the names of some council members and the medicine cat den being walked around be connected? Did they all meet in there, had something gone wrong? Was it too much for her uncle? Twinklepaw pouted. Thinking based purely on conjecture sucked! It got nothing done, but where were all of the other council members? Weren't some of them supposed to be in the medicine cat den, Adderfang especially? He was a stubborn sort, not the type to sit around, and very protective of his family, sure, but... Oh no, had he gone off by himself to Shadowclan's territory!?

With a yelp of panic, Twinklepaw ran across camp, only to nearly bump into someone, which she quickly salvaged by leaping over that cat much like how Jinglemoon had jumped over her just a bit ago. "Sorry, sorry!!"

You can be certain that some day—
All of our dreams will come true!

And that's why we share all we have with you
Though there's little to be found
When all you've got is nothing
There's a lot to go around

Wavesong had only just begun to gather the reeds and mud she'd need to patch up a wall when a flash of fur and fluster bolted across the clearing.

" GREAT FINS! " she yelped, just managing to rock back on her haunches as a blur of apprentice limbs came flying past. A split-second more and she might've worn Twinklepaw like a second pelt. Twinklepaw leapt over her with a squeak and a breathless, "Sorry, sorry!!" and the molly blinked after her, fur a little ruffled, but not from fear. From bafflement. She glanced at the muddy reeds scattered now around her paws, let out a long-suffering sigh through her nose… and then chuckled low in her throat.

" Well now, if yer tryin' t'flatten me, kit, at least buy me a fish dinner first. " she called after the whirlwind with a fond glint in her eyes. Rising to her paws, she stretched and gave her tail a flick, tone mock-serious. " And if yer gonna keep leapin' like that, mind th' nursery! Last time someone flew past like that, we had a bundle o' kits tryin' t'follow after! " she joked with a grin before she finally gave a small smile to herself, eyes drifting up to the clearing around her. Tension still clung to some corners like mist, but the winds were shifting. There was work to be done, and sometimes, it was the silly, scattered things that helped you breathe through the weight.

" What was th' hurry fer, Twinkle?" she finally meowed softly, glancing over at the young one with a small frown.
