Tension had crashed over Riverclan in a fierce wave. Unease seeped into the minds of the cats here. Anger bubbled up from beneath in some as well.
All of this was understandable, Twinklepaw was young but she was no fool. She herself had a lot of complex thoughts about what had happened the night before. She had no kind words for the foxhearted pests that raided this land and hurt her clanmates, her friends, her family. Over what? Herbs? Had they not thought to ask for help? Or did they take pride in cruelty? Were they even doing this under their own leader's approval at all, or did they do this to undermine them, to embarrass their own clanmates, their friends, their families?
She supposed it hardly mattered. Why would they care? Outside of wanting to claw and scar whoever hurt her uncle as retribution, Twinklepaw felt mostly pity towards the thieves and ruffians that came here. It was... strange. She wasn't sure why this was the case.
Either way, her justified distaste and disappointment was secondary and unimportant compared to helping keep her clan together in whatever way she could. As early as she could manage, she scurried away into the territory around Riverclan's camp to see if she could rustle up some herbs. She wasn't going to look blindly, so she sought what was familiar, things that she had seen her uncle Jinglemoon have in his stores rather than trying to find something new. As a result, she came across some comfrey and stinging nettle. Was it going to be enough to make a difference? She hoped so.
Twinklepaw couldn't find any more herbs this early, and chose to not stick around out here by herself for sake of safety in numbers for now and began trotting her way back towards the camp with her collection of herbs in tow.
