Jinglemoon's paws thrummed beneath him though where they were taking him even he wasn't quite sure. He moved through the terrain of RiverClan's territory with surprising ease even at this speed, as though his paws were being guided by something unseen, something with extensive knowledge of every right spot to place a paw no matter how fast you were going. He never once slipped nor tripped despite never hesitating before springing or stepping, every move was with purpose. He might've noticed this miracle of luck had his mind actually been on where he was going but right now? Now that he wasn't facing his niece's hopefully face all of what had happened at that council meeting had come flooding back. Maybe he wasn't truly running anywhere in particular at all he was just running in hopes of escaping the fresh memory it made.

Eventually his paws would carry him to the edge of RiverClan territory, not to any of the sides that bordered their neighbours nor four trees but to the opposite end that bordered no one's land in particular, just up past where the Ash Glade was. Only once reaching here did he finally slow his pace as he approached the water that ran here too. Without looking around to see if any cat was around the medicine cat with frighteningly little hesitation would plunge his entire head under the water of the river's surface and just yell. Bubbles rushed from his maw and the water softened his cries to nothing more then mere muffled murmurs but that was the point, to not really be heard. Just like how he hadn't been back there in his den either.

Jinglemoon would only bring his head back up to gasp for air once it was desperately needed, coughing and spluttering all the while as water dripped from the fur of his chin and cheeks. He moved to plunge back under but paused when his ocean blues spotted something-- Or more someone across the river from him.

OOC- Takes place directly after the brief run in with his niece

We can give more than this,
Though it kills me

DAGGER, She/Her / 29 moons / Loner (Future Riverclan Warrior)
A Grandiose bimetallic fawn Sokoke tabby molly with low white with bright orange eyes
Biological Family unknown, Adopted daughter of ANCHOR and STERN, Adopted sibling to RUDDER and KEEL
Stands confidently and wears her scars with pride, often unintentionally intimidating (but knows how to be on purpose too), jovial with a bold sense of humor

Riverclanners and Shadowclanners weren't the only ones tussling in the middle of the night. Alongside the heist of herbs there was an altercation between several groups and individuals a fair bit beyond the influence of the clans. Over what? Hard to say. Could have been anything. Prey, territory, relationships or grudges. The list went on.

The fight, however, did not. It couldn't. Ultimately the fight would end. The details? Hard to say. Could have been anything. Lives lost, mutual destruction, minimal injuries or maybe everyone ended up talking it out. The list went on. Now they were dispersing in whatever way they managed, the cats that fought, alive or not, harmed or not. They marched on.

One among them, perhaps the most imposing and intimidating, left that battle alone just as she had entered. She had a confident stride despite what had happened, but she made sure that it was steady. She had been in more than enough scrapes to know that overdoing it would not be beneficial. All that she needed to do was find somewhere calm, somewhere generally speaking, safe. At some point she found herself near a flowing body of water that had a partially toppled tree next to it that had been hollowed out who knows how long ago. By what? Hard to say. Could have been anything. Two-legs and their monsters, nature itself, some other animal or even some cats. The possibilities grew.

Satisfied with what she had found, the massive bimetallic fawn molly tried to clean her wounds the best she could before she chose to rest inside the hollowed out tree, which thankfully had enough room to fit her and maybe two other smaller cats. It was here that she allowed herself to rest, away from the fight she was able to walk away from...

It took a while, but eventually the scent and sound of another cat could be heard. Relaxing just outside of her hollowed out little makeshift den the massive bimetallic fawn molly witnessed... Perhaps the strangest act she had seen in a long while. How long? Hard to say. But there was barely any stranger an action.

"Heh, izzat a fishin' technique a'yours?" She snickered. "Soooo... Does it work, or...?" Hm. Hard to say.

And I'm sorry for the people that we all used to be...
We can give more than just 'believe'

For a few heartbeats Jinglemoon simply stared across the water at the other cat, water dripping down the fur on his face and rippling across the surface of the calm river below. Eventually he'd realize he was staring and would quickly shake himself, trying to free his pelt of some of the water he had just drenched himself with, the tips of his ears growing hot with embarrassment knowing some cat had just seen him dunk his head under the river like that. At least it hadn't been a clanmate...

"N-no" He admitted, his tail flicking self-consciously as he scuffed at the ground with his paws. He had needed to yell and getting it out in the water had made him feel better but now he just felt stupid. "Unless you want to scare the fish downstream to some other cat waiting maybe?" He had no idea when it came to hunting fish though and was sure he was just making himself sound even dumber then he looked with his face all mopping wet. He scented the air now that his head was being kept out of the water though and the sharp tang of blood reached him even from across the river, probably because he had gotten so used to picking up on it by this point. He wasn't sure who this molly was but she was injured and the injury was recent too, despite this she looked quite relaxed where she was. Did she even realize how close to Clan territory she was? ... Did she even know what a clan was?

Glancing over his shoulder briefly to check for if any of his clanmates had followed him, Jinglemoon would gaze back at the massive fawn molly when he was certain that they were in fact alone. "You weren't attacked by any cat over this side of the river, were you?" He hoped no one in RiverClan would've done so-- She was clearly not a ShadowClan cat by scent alone but she was near their border, had she been chased off? He realized that her injuries might be a sore spot to bring up to someone who was a complete stranger. "Oh- S-sorry! I don't mean to draw attention to-- I'm a healer y'see? So I thought I could smell blood and- I thought maybe- Uh." He was usually a lot better with his words... It was surely just the thought of that council meeting that was throwing him off still, it was hard to think straight after that mess. He had half a mind to just scurry on back to camp since he'd already embarrassed himself enough but his paws would not let him leave this cat here injured and all alone without at least offering to help first.
