☆ ADDER X WAVESONG | littermates with Rushingtide
☆ Mentored by Willowburn
☆ A mild mannered albino child, fur carries a permenant wave from growing up at the shipyard. Currently growing into her inherited anger while dealing with frustration for feeling behind in comparison to his peers.
☆ penned by Juice↛ Ouijeejuice on discord, feel free to dm for plots.
The slight sliver of fish scales barely avoids sharp claws. There is a certain patience today that Crescentmoon is lacking, making the act of hunting feel like an impossible task. Still she is perched by the riverbank, nearly falling into the river itself with how she is balanced. Beyond camp and hoping to be in the quiet, surely no one will notice his awkward if not a little risky teetering between dry and wet that she is currently accomplishing. Fluffy tail swipes and lashes in frustration as his ears flatten to kiss the grooves of a fur covered skull.
His paw, damp with countless failed attempts, hovers over the rushing currents of the bitter river water. Jaw tense and brows pinched into concentration as he looks for any signs of life below the murky water. Instead of catching fish though he notices the shift of a shadow across the distorted water specks, far enough to not be right next to him but approaching nontheless. Paw still hovering over the water, aching from how he tenses the muscles them. Her head whips to the side, catching the dual pelt of Frostmoth. It only deepens the scowl she holds, in this moment he reflects his father well, carrying the same tension and tired demeanor akin to a cat burning out at both ends. There were few cats she would be upset at for finding him alone like this, unfortunately for the pair of them the deputy is at the top of that short list.
"Why are you out here?" It's spoken frostily, though not hostile. No, she has been careful of staying civil when within his presence even if she wasn't his biggest fan. It was just easier to avoid this particular clanmate, it had become an art for him. Usually pretty good at it, though fate holds other plans in this late afternoon day. "You scared the fish" a blatant lie, since the lack of fish by his side really signals the lack of success he is carrying under his metaphorical belt.
