    11/24 – Upon meeting Pine on the shipyard when Torrent was a kit, he immediately takes a disliking towards Pineheart for scaring his new friend, Squid, into hiding. Further into this day, Torrent and Squid run into a dog, and happen to be chased in the direction of Pine's den. Pine saves them, and while still unsure, gains more trust towards the tom and slight admiration of his fighting skill.

    01/25 – After living with Pine and Squid under the same roof, Torrent's view towards Pine grows in admiration and respect, even if he still thinks he's as grumpy as a badger. Torrent begs him to teach him how to fight, and always jumps at the opportunity to prove himself to his new parental figure–especially after losing his mother to sickness moons prior.

    02/25 – After the shelter collapse and their journey to Riverclan's new camp, a tinge of annoyance starts to emerge towards Pine. Pine has strict rules for Torrent, and while he's just trying to keep him safe, Torrent struggles to understand why he does not trust him, which follows into his apprenticehood as he becomes Torrentpaw.
