{$title} a campground cat near the border of camp! hey jinglemoon, you wanna chat?
I had a dream I was seven
Climbing my way in a tree
I saw a piece of heaven
Waiting, impatient, for me

Curiosity licked at her old heels as Aurora padded closer to where she knew the River cats made their home. Her ears stood tall, swiveling at the sounds of water and distant voices. She paused at the border, not too close, not foolish and called out with a bright, hopeful trill. " Uhm, hello! Hello, you over yonder! " Her eyes fixed on a handsome tom nearby, his coat catching the sun just right. She hoped he was friendly. Some of these Clan cats were... Prickly. Customs, laws, invisible lines she still didn't quite understand. All she knew was that nature provided, and cats... Whether wild or not, they lived from it.
" Hi! " she chirped again, tail tip flicking. " Would you maybe enjoy spending a bit of time in the sun with me? A friendly chat, nothing more. " She settled gracefully where she stood, careful not to inch any closer. The last thing she wanted was to startle him or invite a patrol snarling her back to campgrounds. " You see... " she continued, tone softening with genuine interest. " I've heard many things about your home. And if I'm understanding it right, you're not the only ones who give back to the earth, you live with it, don't you? Provide for it, protect it. " Her whiskers twitched, fondness and curiosity mingling.
" I suppose I just wanted to learn a little more about this place. To see... " The word trailed off. To see what? To see whether a wandering old soul like hers had a place in a world like theirs? Ridiculous. They needed bright young paws, not creaking bones and weather-worn fur. But still, the thought fluttered in her chest like a shy bird. " ... To see what all the fuss is about. " she finished with a small, sheepish smile.
