Rain had been on her own for a long time. Her father was a nameless tom, and her mother died when Rain was 4 moons. So, as a young loner with no one to take care of her, she grew up fast. Unfortunately, she also grew up lonely. She bounced from place to place, never really sure where she should go.

When she met Jet, everything seemed to click into place. He was perfect; charming, caring, handsome... He made her feel safe, like she finally had someplace (or someone) to call home. She liked that someone older than her saw her as mature and intelligent and worth loving. The two of them were soulmates, she thought. Two lost souls wandering, who just happened upon each other at just the right time. They began their wandering together, seeing beautiful sunsets and sleeping wherever they liked. They had no responsibilities, nowhere they had to be - it was just them and the world waiting to be explored.

That is, until Rain realized she was pregnant. Jet took the news... unhappily. He didn't want to be a father, but he would do his best for her. They continued their travels, Rain not wanting to slow him down, at least until she couldn't help it. When her belly began to grow and her steps began to slow, she had to ask: when can we settle down? Jet balked. Settle down? He didn't want to settle down. A fight ensue. Rain needed to settle down, at least until the kits were born and old enough to travel. Jet couldn't believe she was being so immature, an insult that felt like claws to Rain's face. He couldn't believe that she would try to hold him back. If she really cared about him they could figure it out.

Rain asked that he sleep on it. The next morning, she was alone.

Rain is incredibly young - 15 moons as of giving birth. she will love her kittens more than anything, but she will make mistakes as a mother. would love the kits to remain active, at least enough to remain on the census. if for any reason you cannot keep up, we can come up with a "they're missing" plotline! this will close on November 1st (fast turnaround because Rain is overdue already) RELATIONS the kits' only blood relation will be their mother and father for the time being

Genetics Rain is short-furred, grey with low white and blue eyes. Jet is short-furred, dark chocolate tabby with amber eyes kits do not have to be accurate genetically!! I just want her babies to be pretty :3c Names Rain will try to follow Skyclan naming conventions, with a soft spot for nature and pretty themes. Some ideas: Cloud, Glow, Glimmer, Breeze, Fern, Silver, Petal, Basil, Shine, Daisy

★ A SHORTHAIRED, BLUE SMOKE TABBY WITH LOW WHITE.
Songkit is born a small scrap of fur, but it doesn't take long to see that he is a reflection of his mother in blue and white, only reminiscent of his father in the swirling stripes across his form. Blue smoke fur, short and plush in nature, encompasses the majority of his fur. Cloudy white settles across his paws, tail tip, stomach, and chest, and dashes itself across the bridge of his nose, with a small, star-sparked mark just above it.

Songkit will always be small in stature, but his limbs might always look a little long for his form — such will be great for hunting one day, granting him ease in agility when it comes to weaving between SkyClan's obstacles. Pale, blue-grey eyes guide his sight: gentle and light, no matter how serious he might intend to be.

★ PERSONALITY.
Quiet in nature, especially in his kithood, Songkit is a gentle soul, his name apt in a lullaby's form. He carries a deep care for his family, a protectiveness toward his mother and siblings that manifests in a somewhat clingy nature. The kit seems to need to be with his mother in particular, preferring to be at her side rather than play with his peers.

He is a follower rather than a leader, a listener instead of a storyteller, yet a dreamer through and through. He carries a curiosity for the world outside the clan, but couldn't bear leaving it without his family. Songkit has a love for the world around him and all that's in it — a love that will harden as he ages and faces what cruelties opposing clans can bring.

★ PLOT NOTES.
— Warrior Names: (For his skills in hunting) Songbird *, Songfeather; (After his mother) Songstorm, Songcloud, Songmist
— I see him being the opposite of Yolkkit. Where Yolk can be loud, unserious, and always needing to see everything with his own eyes, I feel like Song would be quiet, serious, and okay with not being the first to know everything. Goes with the flow, for the most part?
— Hunkers down in his apprenticeship, learning all that he needs to know to protect his mother, his family, and his clan after.
— As a warrior, he'll probably carry a serious demeanor, but will still carry that kind and gentle nature within him.
— Excels most in hunting, struggles with the thought of battle.
— Potential mixed feelings about his father. I feel like Song will ultimately not like Jet for abandoning Rain, but might carry the wistfulness that he's come back to be with his mother, should he return.
— Maybe his siblings get picked on and he snaps at who does it, the sort of quiet / shy personality that's scary when they stand up for themselves.

-> Flutter will be intrigued by Jet, but hold a bit of a grudge for him not being there for her mother. She won't want to join him, but his tales of the loner life will spark a bit of wanderlust.
-> Ideally, I'd like for her to go on a journey outside skyclan's borders, whether it is upon direction from her leader or of faer own decision. This journey will end up with Flutter realizing they belong back with her family in skyclan.

Name:
Pearkit - leaning towards this. in my language, the Giant Peacock Moth is named Pear Eye-moth or something like that, because of the moth laying eggs on fruit trees, namely pears.
Possibly Pearwing, Pearmoth, Peargaze, but open to other ideas

Story:
Forcing Hawkins to make a bonus kit who will be very close to Pearkit and the two of them will have Soul Bond
Rather anxious, unlike most SkyClanners, they fear heights and prefer to stay on the ground. They have opposite fears to their soul-bonded twin's ambitions which makes them a good pair - when one starts to panic, the other can calm them down and vice versa. Inseparable at first from their sibling, but will eventually need to learn to be apart.
Doesn't ask for things it needs, but if their sibling is in need of something and too afraid to ask for it, it would absolutely stand up for them

For Jet plot, probably don't care about him being their father, he didn't raise them, instead he chose to abandon their mother. So he is their father only by blood and Pearkit won't want to have anything to do with them
